Psh, that's nothing, remember when you had to wire money to him to buy "Kaleidoscope", like some sort of Roaring Twenties stockbroker? You know, when you finished mailing Hora your pink money ordersI sometimes wish Kaya would use simpler forms to support him, like a pay-what-you-can kinda deal, or even PayPal, GoFundMe* etc (*that last service he used for Dress was a mess to use for international fans)

Japan's always been out of the loop when it comes to paying for things - I wonder if they've even made any progress on accepting credit cards since the last time I was there. Among musicians, Hirasawa is the only exception - he was ahead of the curve when it came to dealing with foreigners and accepting payment. And even he used some weird obscure payment service for the longest time before switching to Paypal.
I wonder if it's a "status" thing in a way? If you have your own production company, no matter how small, you don't want to take "donations" from people even if they are willing to give you money. Or if you've worked for a major label in the past, turning to internet for help now would seem like a "step down" or something.
I've seen some acts from Japan who do operate in a more modern way when it comes to the internet and foreign fans, but those have always been smaller underground projects.
So I suppose it could be a Japanese thing or a status thing or both.
It seems like it's a new song made for this occasion, and this is in fact the original:I really really enjoyed this but can't find the original anywhere.
I think it's one of those canned karaoke machine PVs, and you know how those areWhy is there a random floating white person face in the PV for 'Million Roses'?
