Gackt just announced he's ceasing activities indefinitely due to an ongoing illness. This is after a month or so of cancelled online stuff (3 lives a week?).

tbh that response is pretty clever since there's mention of "legal action."
If he's been in contact with the lady at all for the past half year then denying it would look suspicious.
Now he's free to say, "I was in it for her body, didn't look at her instagram - she approached me and didn't mention it."

And he still has no evidence Gackt knew she was married, so he's stiil proving she was there (which Gackt himself confirmed).
His best offensive is "she has instagram photos of our wedding pictures among the million pics she takes of food with boring captions or wtvr."
If she takes pics of her dinners, you just know she has a million photos.

I've never looked into it personally, but I've heard that the settlement is usually around ten million yen.
That's about 200 round trips on the Shinkansen (for you only, not the missus), put another way.
I thought it was artful how this article suggested, without ever outright stating it, that Gackt had covid and gave it to Mrs. B.
I'm also curious if this whole sub-basement thing is common XD I know in London it was big among high-rollers before the practice was banned.
