Sewing... for Közi. Shoot me, but first gimme some comment.

We weren't talking about the reading though. We were talking about how Kozi chooses to spell his name (as both ways would read the same but じ is much more common than ぢ and I believe the actual name こうじ is spelled that way -?).

Bottom line I think was that he spells it the 'right' way in his signature but is being clever on other occasions... :P

Oh, I understood that. I was just posting that so that no one could ever say ぢ was any more correct than じ. Kinda like づ and ず. The sound is the same, but the spelling is different. Ughh... I hated having to get used to writing words like "口づけ." ^.^ But, I personally think こぢ is cooler than こうじ. Sorry for any confusion.

My impression of the stitching is that while it's noticeably erratic, at least in the pictures it looks like it's SUPPOSED to be that way and therefore has more of an expressionistic freeform feeling than just an amateurish one. Like, if you're making punk-style clothing it's better to have the hem be a frayed raw edge instead a nicely stitched even one, because amateurish raw edges suit the punk aesthetic. I don't know what kind of image you have in mind for the finished gloves/arm covers as a whole or how it looks IRL so I can't say for sure that it will work in the end. But I don't think the stitching so far looks inherently good or bad, just really stylized and angular.

Ai, Inertia, thank you for the comment ^^ I hoped it looks something like this, actually. Since I know it's terrible, I hoped *shrug* at least it might have some spirit of stylishness or something this way.

And actually, here the ready thing is.

A second view, to see where the hand goes and how the hairy thing stands.

A view for how it looks on the inside -now- with the linen + the method of clasping...

Some random view...

And another random view, for a whole impression or something of the like. Excuse it for squashing a little in the scanner and for not looking best on -my- hand since it's quite big for me, you guess. I hope now it's a little more clear what it's like. And I hope it's pretty, of course.

Those are definitely interesting, Keiyoru. I like them. Just curious though, why did you pick brown for the hairy bits? And what IS that exactly??? It sort of looks like extension hair, or part of a wig or something. But anyway, if it was me I probably would've picked black or red for the hair, to match. But it still looks good like that.

Well, there wasn't any other colour available. Anywhere else I looked, just slight variations. You're right, it's a hair extension but it's really hard to explain. Basically, it's something like this:

One of the 23-24 I have. I used to make DIX hair with all of them attached to my hair but now two are being happily sacrificed ^^ It's a bunch of artificial hair knit and entangled, twisted around a strip of elastic band. I picked the two with the larger "hole" in the middle, cut it and the re-knit it in attachance (what a word, lol) to the Thing.

The pictures that have the arm in it look really good...but
the ones without an arm look kind of scary. (lol)

Anyways, I like what it looks like, Keiyoru.

Ahhh, ok, now I know what that is! I've seen those hair scrunchy things before. Oddly enough though, they all seemed to be black. Hmm. Go figure! heh. But yeah, that's a shame that there weren't any other colors available. But like I said, it definitely looks good as is. ^__^
