They're pretty much the first really unique jrock/VK band to ever exist and their music still carries a uniqueness. Their variety of music that they can play masterfully is amazing and Atsushi's vocals are beyond wonderful. Their sometimes strange compositions are very hypnotizing and their live shows are just tons of fun. To be around for 20 years and still be pretty damn popular means they've gotta be doing something right. Especially for so long. They were the first Visual Kei band to play in the Tokyo Dome (in 1989 and they only really debuted in 1987) selling out a 50,000 seat show. In fact, they were the first band to play there and sell out a show since The Beatles were in Japan. B-T also pioneered "secret tracks" in Japan with their album Darker than Darkness. Track 93 was D-T-D and people tried to return the CD, thinking it was broken.

I regret not trying this band before. It was about two months (or less) ago when I saw the PV "Romance". That's when I got hooked and started to listen their older stuff too.

Question 1: A secret track is a track not listed on the albums tracklist. Sometimes they're just an extra track (like if an album says it has 12 tracks but actually has 13 or there will be a bunch of tracks that play nothing but a few seconds of silence and after you fast foward through them one of them will have an extra song. In this case, track 93 was D-T-D.
Question 2: I would really suggest you check out an album and not just some songs but take from my own favorites list.. I'd say your best bets for albums from the songs you provided as your favorites would be Mona Lisa Overdrive, and Jyuusankai wa Gekkou, to start with.

Question no2: how are their names spelled? And: In western order, would Sakurai Atsushi be named Atsushi Sakurai? I always thought Sakuray was a christian name, since a villain in the manhwa Ragnarok is called Sakurai.

On Darker than Darkness that song is Yuuwaku. On Sexy Stream liner track 1 is Thanatos, track 3 is Heroin, 6 is rasen mushi. On Jyuusankai track 2 is Kourin, 9 is Gesshoku.

I am a B-T newbie, myself! Kazuo sent me their newest album " Jyuusan-kai wa Gekkou". I absolutely love it! I'd suggest that album~!
