  1. Blog Hora's New Website

Clarity is good - many J-rock acts often have websites that are messy (at least to a non-Japanese reader) beyond comprehension :D
  2. I have Közi dvd =)

I was pleasantly surprised by this DVD in all aspects - sure it looks and feels cheap but really establishes one fact, that is, Közi being able to be a very, very viable, fun and exciting live act. I'm really impressed.
  3. Kozi - Live Dvd

Talk about poor :( My brother roped me into a few expensive things and I recently got the Memento single too (man that was murder)... I'd been hitting myself over with a club for not getting it when it was released, though, so it looks like I will be preordering this now just to be free of the...
  4. Redemption PV

It struck me as being a very good performance from the band - it's not easy capturing such vivid motion that well. Mad props to the camera crew and the band itself. Even Gackt shines innit!
  5. deadman [news] [disband+last tour+album translation up]

Same here, No Alternative was very imaginative mostly because it really was alternative - it had great tones brought over from overseas, mixed joyously with the Japanese touch... the new album is very solid but also lacks in the punch section.
  6. What dir en grey said on a interview about Moi dix Mois/Mana

I sometimes wonder how (especially Western) fans can be horribly distasteful by inquiring and asking questions regarding other artists - their peers, rather. It's just not what you could describe as polite. I'm just saying that after you create a body of artwork, painstakingly present it...
  7. What dir en grey said on a interview about Moi dix Mois/Mana

"Ridicule is nothing to be scared of"
  8. -scape- + sister sites now on hiatus [forum remains open]

Yeah, exactly that. The need for no explanations. That's what it is... "scape haven". Always up for an excuse to wordplay, me.
  9. ... Gackt's Look 05'

I gotta say though, I can honestly say that from day one (I'm a lurker, what can one do about such a bad habit), even long before I registered, I was always smitten by how I thought everybody was civil about things despite the obvious possibilities for much more. Japan and its exports are...
  10. ... Gackt's Look 05'

Really? I admit I haven't been following close enough to really be in a position to defend my thoughts if you say I'm wrong. It's just how I've thought things are :) What I do think, though, is that I don't think "bashing" ever has tones of good nature though.
  11. ... Gackt's Look 05'

I have to agree with the previous sentiments up in the air here - good-hearted humour is a long way from so-called bashing. By all means I think Gackt fares greatly on these forums. People are very tolerant about him here.
  12. Gackt: DIABOLOS review

Although you're probably right about the slightly reduced affectation (and we seem to agree on the starting "point" of his change in his use of voice), I can only start to speculate how songs like "Road" could be like if he was singing as crystal-clearly as he did two or three years ago. I think...
  13. Gackt: DIABOLOS review

I'm just seriously puzzled about how he (especially on tape) now sounds like he had a constant flu. His voice is so affected. I know it's been that way for a good while now (if you want an approximation in my ears, progressively more since Crescent). I'm just asking what you think - there...
  14. deadman [news] [disband+last tour+album translation up]

They stand so very alone in the musical climate of Japan that it is reason alone to like the band ^_^
  15. Gack Pictures as a Samurai

http://community.webshots.com/photo/282 ... gDZnIAEtsq He seems to have three of the so-called "Kenshin" pictures available for browsing. I don't know where I've misplaced mine x__x
  16. some questions for school

Do you want/have need for more answers, though? I haven't had a thread to post in for months now :p
  17. top 5 NON-jrock bands

Lovely, -Priss-! I recently got into the Prunes as well (now that I think of it, very much simultaneously with The Chameleons, actually, their two first records have been rotating in my player very much. One of the long-lost post-punk bands that would deserve much more attention, definitely), I...
  18. Schwarz Stein on Hotwave clip?

I can help with the encoding if someone gets it transferred ^__^
  19. Current TOP 5 J-Rock Bands (non -scape-)

    1. Deadman 2. Aliene Ma'riage 3. Goatbed 4. Kagrra, 5. La'miss Fairy Dir en grey and D'espairsRay do fit there every once in a while, too, as do Kagerou. As you can see it is a matter of mood, really, as I do see all three bands doing a certain thing.
  20. Bara no Souretsu ?!?!

Almost my favourite Malice Mizer song, if you don't count Le Ciel on Merveilles.
