Why in Seattle? I don't know anybody there. Kanon Wakeshima is also one of the guest.

OMG my best friend just moved over there for work XD I'm sure she'd let me stay with her, but I'd be behind in class and all (it's a longer flight too), I donno. I can't imagine going to Seattle just for M10M though, hmmm... I'm sure there will be more opportunities in the future XD

Why Seattle? SERIOUSLY.

If you come to the con, you might see me! There's a possibility that I might be selling merchendise for the band, I'm in communication with some of the con staff now! ::squee::

And I bet MdM will play other cons in the future, so I wouldn't worry too much about it ::dix:: Seattle has had X-Japan, Every Little Thing, Dir en Grey, Miyavi and Galneryus in the past, and I bet it has something to do with the large amount of exchange students from Japan bringing their musical culture with them. We even got Puffy Ami Yumi once, but I didn't go because I was selling spaghetti at a fund-raiser ::gaku::

Like we were saying in the Nil thread, it's not always economically advantageous for Japanese acts to play in America because the number of fans isn't really as big as it seems at first glance, but I'm happy to see Mana taking the first step!

Most people need more than a month to make cross-country travel plans. It always seems like when any Japanese band I like comes to the US, it's kinda last minute.

Not that I would specifically make a trip just to see MDM, but it would be a good excuse to check out a city we've never been to.

I might go since I live in downtown (or will be shortly) but I don't know if I want to fork out the $40 something or more for the dumb convention ticket.

I may not really like MDM anymore, but concerts are fun and may be the only chance to see them without having to do any traveling.

Who'd want to see YOU?
hohohoho

Are you like, a person who works at cons? XD I'm assuming you'll give me everything for free ::cred::

I would've sold spaghetti too ::meev::

I totally agree. I think this has happened to me so many times. We know when the con is, but the guests aren't announced/confirmed until a few weeks in advance and that's not enough time. It just seems like these things are always catching us by surprise.

COME TO THE EAST COAST DAMNIT SDOIFJDOFISJDF

@Lem: You should definitely go! I mean I'd go if I was nearby, even if I don't love them as much anymore. And yeah, when else are you going to see them live until next time? XD

I just made a promise to myself weeks ago that when Moi dix Mois returned to the US, I'd go see them without hesitation. I wish it was a little closer (I live in Texas), but a road trip will be fun and doable with my current job. Who knows how many other opportunities there'll be for me to see my favorite musician.. I've been waiting a long time already! If anyone else goes, let's do a meetup :D

I had a friend living in Seattle who just moved back to Michigan :(

Not that I could have afforded the plane ticket anyway, or even made time for it in my schedule (the semester doesn't end until the end of April). Oh well :/

Damn, MdM and Kanon Wakeshima at the same con? I am mad jelly right now. ::kiwi::
Maybe one of them will make an extra stop in LA afterward or something (preferably Kanon). ::meev::

Has anyone been to M10M's previous con appearances? Was it, like, cool?
Uh...me? ::meev:: Pretty sure I wrote up a long-ass report about it too but I might have gone back and bahleeted it.
I'd be more than happy to re-write my rant about AX's horrible organization though. ::gaku::

I told Johnny (my husband) about it and he actually wants to go more than I do (he doesn't care about MDM but he wants to see Seattle). It's not like we can really afford it at the moment but he was like "eh, fuck it. You only live once."

So, I don't know. I might be there. I haven't listened to them in a while but I'm sure it will be fun (even if only for watching the lolis lose their minds over MAAANNAA-SAAAMMAAA).
