I can't get my avatar to show up at all!!!!! Can they be uploaded from the computer's C Drive, or do they have to be linked via website?? :?

They've got to be uploaded to a website... you can try the free site http://www.photobucket.com which I think a lot of people here use.

Remember: 150x150 and 50000 bytes maximum!

i have trouble getting BMP files as an ava, even though they are under the 50 kb limit

it's size is 115x116 pixels

Why can't they be used as an ava?
the rules say nothing about file types.
Or is it just my comp/server which is not right or something? :s

if i turn into a JPG then it wil turn even more ugly and pixelated then it already is :s

I dunno about Scape, but in most places only jpgs and gifs are okay file types for avatars... in any case, I converted your image to a jpg without any quality loss.

Save it to your own server and tell me once you're done so I can take it off my domain.

question for moderators/administrators

so why couldn't i use a BMP file?
The rules don't say a thing about file types, so i thought a BMP file was okay.

are there some types of files not accepted?
I'd like to know that for future avatar/picture/what ever plans
