kozi: can be very adrongenous. he makes you think as to which gender he is.
mana: if he stands still, is very convincing, but when he moves, you can tell he's not a woman [mebbe it's his legs?], his movements are a bit of a hit and miss, especially when he's doing his lolita "dance". emiru [lareine] is a better lolita.
dada: professional drag queen, which speaks for itself. you are meant to know that there is a guy under all that.
kaya: only one i haven't seen move, so i really can't comment. but, like mana, looks very good still, plus his features are softer.

hmm, hard to choose between kaya and dada.

they look HORRIBLE in my opinion. it looks like a cheap low budget demo band photoshoot. mana's outfit looks like somthing you'd find in value village, or in a kindergardeners art and crafts class. they all look their worst in my opinion... i hate that photoshoot xD

kozi yu~ki and gackt's frightened me. And I take back what I said about mana's look, as this is the first time ive seen something other than a face-shot of his outfit.

But I still think Kami looked great in that shoot, he totally pwned his bandmates this time around.

I think it's a combination of the contacts and how he does his makeup (creating an unnatural eye shape).

hmmm i find it weird personally that so many voted kaya. he has an extremely deep singing voice, and as a vocalist, uses it quite often xD

I really think Kaya is one of the only ones who actually takes his image seriously. I mean, just read his lyrics and diary. It's been discussed before, but he writes from the female perspective.

Also, I do think Izam should've been here. I had to double take when I seen one of his photoshoots where he had blue hair and some knit hat on. Plus, he's cool.

well, i just mean when it comes to blurring the genderline. if you sing with an voice like his it's hard to think of him as a her.

then again, i don't think any of the choiced blur the gender line... Izam would have been my choice if he was on the list. Izam definatly BLURS the generline, if not erases it. his vocals are almost andrgynous [sp?] and he is so pretty!

Well I think that's a perfect example of blurring gender lines. His personality isn't complete without his masculine voice. You see, he may not make people think he's a woman, but his combination of masculinity and femininity challenges preconceptions about gender.

..but as for Kaya, I've never, ever been able to see him as female.
When I saw him live the first time, even with the fake boobs and the girlish way of talking, etc., I still saw him as a gay man playing the stage role of an okama.
As for his diary, it may seem like a female form of writing. However, there are things he says and speach patterns he uses that are also more "gay" than "feminine", and I don't think the way he thinks in his songs is very female either.
His eyelashes are feminine though~
