The reunion of blood relatives
A concentration of a jam session of 3 MALICE MIZER members after 9 years!
2010.7.17 Akasaka BLITZ
Mana, the leader of Moi dix Mois, and Kozi went on a 6 city nation wide coupling tour for the second time. Also, Yu~ki's decision to appear only at this Tokyo performance made for a special day. Three people who shared activity together in MALICE MIZER, Mana (G), Kozi (G), and Yu~ki (B) (each played the part that they played during the time of MALICE MIZER), stood on the same stage again after 9 years, and the commemoration of the single night burned into everyone's memories as a large audience crowded at Akasaka BLITZ.
It had the spirit of a foreign live house with the cool and crazy Kozi's rock show. Seth's shouting was frozen over in the hard & gothic world which Moi dix Mois displayed. The 2 live performances were finished, then ------ it was time for the guest to come out, and the hot cheering on the grounds surged while waiting. There was the resounding of "Saikai no Chi to Bara". Mana, Kozi, and Yu~ki stood on stage with one rose in each of their hands. The tune ended and together the three members walked to the front of the stage and threw the roses out to the audience……
In the beginning, Kozi took the mic and brought up the subject of Yu~ki, "It was amazing to be able to run this song, wasn't it. You already know what I'm going to talk about, since 80% of you came to this venue to see Yu~ki-chan." "Its been a while. Its great to meet again. Mana-chan, you're not crying are you?" replied Yu~ki. Then drummer Hayato greeted the drums, and the three members started their revival performance. First was a Rob Zombie cover, "What Lurks On Channel X". Continuing on, finally MALICE MIZER's "Beast of Blood" was announced!
"Tonight we are depending on him" (said Kozi) as Hayato was introduced and started the rhythm to Kozi's striking vocals while Mana and Yu~ki played on both sides. It was not only nostalgic as everyone was trembling with passion of memories at this scene. Seeing the presence of these three members presence after 9 years was something of excellence. The session ended at approximately 10 minutes, but the audience wanted to see more and wildly called out for an encore.
The voices lead the three members to appear on stage again, and Kozi smiled saying "There are no more songs". Unfortunately the three members only performed 2 songs, but we all hope for another meeting.
This one night became known as a mid-summer's night dream. However, the 3 members will continue on with their activities and some day the bond of the roses will meet again. We look forward to that day, and from now on we want to watch over each one's activities.
