[DI3] What's everyone Wearing?

Just curious. Since Lejun's not coming, I have to stalk somebody...this'll make it easier to do *plus I can't decide what I'm going to wear. If I wear Moitie I'll look like a silly bandgirl and I don't even like MdM, but if I don't I'll lose about 3 points on the prettiness scale because Mana's stuff is beautiful...*

So right, what's everyone else thinking of doing?

I was thinking about cutting arm and leg holes in a black garbge bag like missy misdamenor elliot. Or possibly finding a way to grow enough body hair that I can go in the nude.

I haven't decided yet. On the one hand I would like to wear MMM to show my appreciation, M10M being one of my favourite bands and all that, but on the other hand I don't want to look like a Mana clone who hasn't got a style of her own. Plus, I haven't actually got any MMM clothes yet (except for the coffin ring), so I don't know how well they will fit me. All I can say at this point is that it will definitely be black and if I wear MMM I will probably mix it in with some of my "normal" clothes - I can't imagine going to a live without a corset.

Like, everyone assumes if you wear Moitie that you're a bandgirl, and I most certainly am a bandgirl, but that's Velvet Eden...but I don't wanna wear a polka dot thong >_< I do have the most lovely Moitie corset, still, not planning on wearing it. You're so pretty though; I think whatever you wear will look abolutely wonderful...

And Geir, your plastic bag will look stunning too I am sure ^_^ Will you be trying on dresses at Moitie to help me out too? *please*

Probably normal plain clothes. I would like to wear all MMM clothes. But I haven't the money and size to buy MMM clothes. So... unless I suddenly decide to go h.naoto + Black Peace or Metamorphose (wich looks like bad manners, wearing black lolita dress from another label)... I'll probably just go in normal clothes.

I'm not afraid of looking like a Mana clone! I have invincible Kamijo hair. XD No matter how much Moitie I wear, my hair defeats any feeling of Mana-ness the clothes might have.

So I'll wear all-Moitie except for the accessories. At last year's Dis Inferno at which Kamijo and Mayu appeared, I went in a full Kamijo costume to show support for them. This year, just in case anyone remembers me, I'd like to wear lots of Moitie as a way of saying "even though you might know me as someone else's fan, I really do like Mana and co. as well!"

I really don't mind people seeing that I'm a die-hard M10M fan but I draw the line somewhere. I firmly believe in individualism. When I fell in love with MMM I had never even heard of Mana, so the fact that his fashion caters 100% to my personal taste is a wonderful coincidence. I'll happily wear MMM if it looks better than what I'm bringing along (and if it fits) but I will try and give it some personal touches.

I wanted to make my own dress, but I have absolutely no time ;_; It would include embroidering the edges and stuff and I'm not wearing it until it's perfect...but it's a pretty dress all the same. I think maybe I'll wear moitie dress and coat, and then find some very obviously not Moitie socks and make my own head thingy. There's nothing that says rebellion like buying the dress and coat, and then refusing to buy the $30 socks

...right?

Oh that's sweet of you. But no, part of the problem are sizes. I have a big-medium japanese size, I can not fit in many clothes (sleeves too short, breast, shoulders...) even if you lent me something chances are I won't fit. And, well I CAN pay 1 new Moi-Meme costume but I prefeer buying other things.
I admit... if sizes weren't a problem... I probably would have bought something in august XDDDDDD But... it's not sizes for 167cm 60kg gaijin girls. ^^; It can't be helped.

Plain clothes is not a problem at all. Of course normal clothes doesn't means jeans, converse and t-shirt. It means black pants, black blouse. Even in normal clothes it is acceptable, nobody will hate me for it.

I am not going to be there....if I could I would go in full Mana-sama dark lady garb....or naked...maybe I will just listen to MDM and create more dark clothing while naked in the privacy of my own home on the date of this event just to be with you guys in spirit..... and I will not forget sunglasses to conceal my shifty eyes.

Does this mean, among being immortal, Lord of the Underworld, and many other things, Mana now has the ability to create clothing for naked people out of dark matter? I think he is very happy. Now he can make clothing for Gakuto!
