That sounds like an admirable idea to me Flatliner.

As for moral support of your endeavors....*throws confetti and holds "GO TEAM GO!" sign* ::k::

I wonder if someone can hunt down Kozi after a live sometime (assuming that's possible and assuming he's gonna have a show...) and discuss something or drop the fact that there are tons of EOD fans willing to support and actively adore his and Haruhiko's works.

Just for curiosity's sake, has anyone ever talked to Kozi after a show or otherwise? What's he like? ^^

*shrug*

Germany, for example? I heard bad things about some german concerts, like "fans" stole pics from Közi after the concert [from the stage - I mean w00t ??-] and touched eod while they where playing on stage, they also touched Közi`s guitar while he was paying
Some people are just stupid :(

I hope what you do pays off, Flatliner. Really. I can't stand the thought of Eve of Destiny quitting.

yes, in germany, but in other places as well like in france and poland. some people that went to eod concerts, after, just felt like saying everywhere how rude kozi is , and when i ask them why, they just can't give me a valid reason. This is really annoying.

They said everywhere Közi is rude? Or did I understand it wrong? [sorry my english isn`t just that good x_x ]
I only heard he was very, very nice to the fans and stuff, man what idiots...

Sad, how a very good and nice band like eve of destiny gets threated like a bunch of idiots, not only from their lable but also from their fans, very sad that it has to be like this :(

And they got bothered at the airport, even, by a couple of really annoying fans... why do people have to be so stupid and inconsiderate? ~_~

Politely asking for an autograph, or maybe a photo is one thing.
Irritating the piss out of them is totally another. I get annoyed by the people at the club when I'm DJing sometimes, it must be eleventy billion times worse dealing with annoying fans when you're a musician.

Some fans can be super cool, but some...jeez...no respect.

Well, yeah, EoD might have done several things in a different way, while they were acting, but I think they just did what they thought is the best for them. So, even tho they obviously made some mistakes and not necesseraly trusted the people they should have, I do not blame them for this.
The only real mistake they have done is not publishing an official statement about the whole CCP fiasco. The one that I posted on the EoD ML long ago and which was quoted here was made while things have not settled yet and it was not clear what's going on. Later, when it was clear that the CCP deal is a dead-end and that many fans and the band themselves were ripped off, they should have posted an official statement on their official site to inform their fans and warn them and other bands that might deal with CCP. And instead of this their official HP disappeared suddenly and the 'Out Now! order from CCP!' ad is still up on Közi's site. So, they have not really handled the situation the way they should, but I guess they were just tired of it.
And while it would be really amazing to see N+I re-released together with the unreleased songs, I do not think it will ever happen as it seems that they have completely given up on EoD. Which is a shame and I so hope that they will prove me wrong...

There was no problem at all with any of the venues. Some people... yes. But the venues themselves were quite cool lil clubs most of the time.

From what I can remember, it wasn't the same plane that these people had got on, but they were hanging around at the airport. ~_~

@ Case: I agree with you 100%. (And with Beserk!)
(I spend too much time agreeing with people without enough original thought! *headdesk* ><)

@ Lilly: if you find... I'd be interested to see reports of Poland 2005, because I don't think I've read that.

@ Camu and Lilly: I didn't hear exactly such things, but some people have an impression from Közi of being less "friendly" on stage persona compared with Haruhiko who is more smiley and interactive with audience. But I heard probably more positive things than negative, for example, one girl she went to get autograph (at the time EoD would give autographs after the show) and she was really nervous (she was really young at the time) and she says as how Közi made a point to smile at her to make her not feel nervous... and other stuff I have heard, about both of EoD, it's mostly all positive. Besides, I think it's stupid to judge such things on stage performance; you have to speak with a person to form your impression, and even then, a brief words isn't a very reliable foundation. ~_~

(I suppose I kinda sympathise, if that isn't too strong a word to use, because I am one of those people who gets everywhere thought of as rude and distant/arrogant, because I'm not very smiley or "engaging", and a bit - how do you say it? - cold impression, but in my heart my personality isn't like that... so I suppose that makes myself a bit careful of judging on short impressions. T_T)

It seems like EoD weren't quite sure what to do with themselves after CCP, and rather than making any decisions, time has passed them by, without action, but without the deliberate intention of making a disbandment. ><

I talk too much...

@Kinsao: I give them to you if I finde something :)

Anyway, yeah, maybe Közi acts on stage..ehm different? I only heard nice things about him at autograph sessions.
But when you listen to that Közi Live from 28th of March [you can find on the download section] you can totally hear that he is nice to the audience and entertains them :)
I mean when I first saw eod I thought :"man..scary, they look so evil, they must be very unfriendly" xDD~
So people propably missunderstood it ::meev::

Yeah, i also heard about such things, still this is not a valid reason to call someone rude, don't you think?. i agree that most people said positive things, however i've come across some people that didn't. I guess they can be ignored. ::hora::

Precisely.
And ignoring sounds like the best strategy, really.
*group hug all round*
(I have no idea why I just said that... )
Somebody said on the Forum that Shall Not be Named, that they found Dir en grey "arrogant" and rude (except for Die), but when it came down to it, the only thing they could say to back up their statement was that the guys didn't smile (during handshake session). Some people just have... a not very reasonable view.

Damn...but Kyo was soooooo nice. He smiled and said thank you and everything. *_* HE TOUCHED MY HAND!

Anyways...(wow, I can't compete with all of the interesting things you guys have said) I like EoD and would be really disappointed if they disbanded. Especially without an official announcement. (even if it did mean that Közi would release more solo works)

As far as Közi goes...I've mostly heard good things about him. Sure, he's not smiley onstage like Ash, but I think it's part of who he is. Perhaps he was more into playing than he was into the fans?

I have heard a few bad accounts of Közi...for example, that he wouldn't sign MM stuff...but I find that understandable. I mean, if I was touring with Band A but people were trying to get me to sign stuff from Band B, I'd be a little upset. I'm trying to promote Band A, not Band B, which is done and over with. Maybe I'd sign Band B stuff if someone stopped me on the street, but then again...if my current project was Band A, I'd try to stick with that. Then again, that's just me...

Real fans do respect the bands. I don't know for sure what was meant by "stealing" pictures (taking them when you're not supposed to?)...but for sure it's disrespectful to touch someone's instrument without their permission, ESPECIALLY if they're playing it in the middle of a concert. As much as I love Akauzu-kun and would give anything to touch it, I wouldn't without permission, out of respect for both Közi and Akauzu-kun (you have no idea how much I adore that guitar *__*)

And...I would love to have a CD that EoD put their heart and soul into, and that they got back from. <3 If that ever comes, I shall buy it.

just a quick note: It seems that the old Industry domain has expired, so eveofdestiny.co.uk will not be available until further notice. However the site is still up here. I doubt I will ever update it again as the band has unfortunately disappeared without any notice, but the site will remain online for old times' sake and as a resource for everyone who wants to get any info about them.

(Oh, and if any of you have Industry linked from somewhere, please update the url. thx.)
