What kind of scissor are you using Amatsu? Because if you're usinga normal one, I might have an idea for your bangs to come out a bit nicer on the ends (not saying that they look bad).

I use ones like these:

But they're kinda old, so the blades arent that shiney, and I think they might be a little dull.

Get a pair of thinning shears. They're mostly for layering and do quite a good job on bangs. They have little grooves in between so not all the hair gets cut, creating layers that are easy to manage.

it didn't hurt my hair
it just tugged on it, which ended up hurting my head.
i have sensitive skin..so sensitive that even nail polish makes my fingers burn O_O

Oh, I think I know what she was doing. She was trying to razor your hair with a thinning shear. She probably had it closed and then would pull down the hair with it to thin it out, like it was a razor. That IS a valid method of thinning hair but you're not supposed to have the scissor completely closed, otherwise it will, as you experienced, tug.

Thanks Formless :] I'll buy some later this week and try them out.

@Akane: My arms and eyelids are like that :P when my arms get like... dirt on them, they start getting bumpy and itchy xD almost like an allergic reaction. and my eyelids, i dunno if this is true for everyone, but liquid eyeliner makes my eyelids feel like they're being scraped with a blade. not cut, scraped. :\

edit: @Formless: would double sided thinning shears do the trick, or should i stick with one sided?

Stick with single sided, you don't want to overdo it.
