or this could just be a HUGE coincidence...

I'm going back through Phantasy Star II, and suddenly remembered why "Rudolf Steiner" sounded so familiar...

My apologies if this has already been bandied about.

Interesting... but I don't know how you wouldn't know SS were video game fans, especially Hora, who mentions video games in almost every thing he talks about :P

But who knows. It would be weird to think they didn't name themselves after the actual Rudolf Steiner but instead something out of PS2... but it would probably make more sense :P

Heh... well I've not heard/read any SS interviews, as much as I like their music I've always been more into reading mana interviews and such. But if Hora's a VG fan... might just have to read up more.

Still, thought I'd just show this to y'all, it sure got a double take from me :D

(I also didn't know there was a real Rudolf Steiner either... oops)

Maybe the Rudolf Steiner in Phantasy Star 2 and Schwarz Stein's first name were both based off of the man?

    Hmm... so it's either:

    A) Hora is an esoteric philosophy fan
    or
    B) Hora is a video game fan

So tough... which is right? XD

    OMFG PS owns you.

Thats so cool. I think they were named after the game cause i bet mana would insist on them changing it.

    Mana-"video games arent gothic enough"
    Hora-"but"

    Something like that.

Well, hopefully he'll get to Louis Vachar soon, who is basically Fisher Price's My-First-Vonnegut. :D

I dont think mana actually likes video games that much I think he just says it cause veryone says that to appeal to those kids. And hes not passioante about it like Hora. Anyways if it was the philospher I dont think mana would have made them change it. Philospher band names are pretencous like malicous misery *sigh*

Mana really does love video games though. He even did an interview with the creator of Castlevania and wrote a ringtone to promote the game.

I don't think he'd do that if he didn't like video games ;)

AHA! I was wondering who that scary guy was in that photoshoot with Mana! Thats awesome~!

I can imagine Mana being a gamer... alot of Jrockers are gamers. I can just imagine Mana getting angry and throwing down the controller and stomping on it with those heels......without any emotion on his face. XD
Kyo is also a gamer! XD

EDIT: I remember in an interview in Malice Mizer when the interviewer asked them to describe their rooms Mana said there was a gaming corner I believe......along with plenty of other more odd things....>.>
