Interview translation: MM on Gackt leaving the band

i've read only a few posts in this thread
but i think that none of us holds solid proof of what really happened,
the only thing we can do is speculate, and this counts for nothing
i've read what both parties have said on the matter
i think that we shouldn't start saying that Mana it's ass and he kicked Gackt out, or Gackt it's an asshole, he used Malice Mizer to step into the spot light, and then ran away stealing most of their fanbase

to be honest i don't really care why he left Malice Mizer
i know only one thing that he left the band and has a successful solo career, they've found a new vocalist and continued making music until they decided to go on hiatus, if it is permanent or not no one knows, i guess we will have to wait and see

i'm happy that this band existed that they've put out such beautiful music that i can enjoy listening to
all the rest will remain a mystery for us

I am not exactly glad he left. It was good, because it lead to Gackt solo, which has really great songs, but i liked him as a frontman in malice mizer.

it's my favorite era
but i like his solo career too,
so yeah what's past it's past... we can't change that
