I don't think anyone said anything conclusively. Heresay was that he couldn't stay in the band for reasons that weren't entirely his choice though (be it his health, or issues with another member, etc)
I always thought he had mostly left for differences. You can tell by his posterior projects that gothic stuff wasn't his thing, he just went full glam.
I may be mis-remembering, but I'm pretty sure Mana mentioned somewhere in recent years that although Juka tried really hard, the whole goth stuff (or just the death-voice thing?) really wasnt his thing. I've heard a different story from fans from that time regarding why he left m10m, but wasnt the health stuff a few years later?
Has the "health" excuse been true ever with any band? I've seen it used so much through-out the years and mostly by the remaining band members and never the person who left. It's not like health problems stopped Beethoven, lmao. As far as I remember, from my early teens, Juka was a good singer and a solid front man. He had charisma and he sang really well all the clean parts. The rougher vocals were handed over to the bassist, right?
Bah, I always saw health as a way of saying 'don't wanna say'. Whatever the reason, I was at his last live with M10M. He almost started crying at one point and it kinda hit me in the feels.
So, Juka seems to be answering questions in his IG stories. I would translate but I don’t read Japanese at all, but I can take screenshots in case someone wants to take a stab at it?
So, I totally did not take screenshots at all, but I thought it was v cute how many fans from Latin America were sending him messages. I know he'll probably say zilch about questions regarding Mana etc, but damnit I just wanna know how he responded to them anyway! Also someone asked what his favorite MM song was, and of course I couldn't read what he wrote. Darn.
I see he (re)followed me recently? Didn't even know he unfollowed me in the first place, not that I would have noticed or have been (too) butthurt about it. Not sure what prompted him to -- I haven't been posting cars or Jrock lately , nor tried going out of my way to interact with him directly.

lol dare someone to ask him why he won't be singing in the Rage Against the Machine reunion tour this summer too.

Nowadays I don’t know how you listen to music. It’s because I’m from the CD generation.” Q: “Favorite song of MALICE MIZER.” A: “Oh really? They’re wonderful!” Q: “What songs were your favorite that you recorded during your stay in Moi dix Mois?” A: “None.” and then someone asked about Hizaki Q: “Do you have friendship with Hizaki-san now or is it passed?” A: “We meet up a few times in private.☺️ We’re ex-war buddies.”

I recall seeing someone actually ask in english "Do you like MANA?" and Juka responded with three smiley faces. That's pretty much anyone's interpretation, but from what he told me once he wanted so much more out of his career as a musician and he just did not find the success he was looking for, therefore he gave up. So I'm inclined to think the reason surrounding his MdM exit isn't that he didn't get along with Mana, but rather, wasn't happy with Moi dix Mois because the style/band direction didn't suit him. In other news, I saw Kaya posing in a similar aesthetic to Hizaki's (via Instagram below), so perhaps our mystery vocalist for the return of Hizaki Grace Project is not Juka as some fervently hoped, but Kaya. Or maybe Kaya just felt like matching.
