I find it so funny scape has become my official-izing news source. It doesn't matter that I just saw it on the charts. If it's not on scape, it's not legit. lol more sad though, actually.

But not as hilarious as that "miraculous" Mana cameo :lol:

OH no support dilemma. Do I want to hear all the music or watch region 2 pvs :( Who is buying it and which are you getting?

Kamijo from Versailles and Mana from Malice Mizer Co-Staring

Mana, the leader of Malice Mizer that ceased activities in 2001 and is currently active in Moi dix Mois, made a special appearance in the debut solo single "Louis ~The Bloody La Vie an Rose" (on sale 8/:cool: by Kamijo, the vocalist of Versailles, a rock band that ceased activities in December of last year. This is the first time Mana has appeared in a music video for another artist since the disbandment of Malice Mizer.

These two led the VK Rock Boom of the 90's and now their co-staring together has become a reality. The new theme is "The Awakening of Aesthetics". Kamijo was a roadie for Malice Mizer with roots in the Aesthetic School of thought and has requested his old teacher Mana to appear in his video. In celebration of this embarking of his junior, Mana has agreed to appear.

The music video preview has been shared on the video sharing site YouTube and fans all over the world are commenting. These two will continue to pursue "Aesthetics" in the midst of VK. This will be realized on the day of Kamijo's solo debut and is sure to gather more attention.

I'm still confused as to whether or or not Mana will be playing guitar/producing/composing in this song, or if he is just lending his physical beauty to the video. I really hope the jeune fille makes an appearance in the PV if he is the one playing guitar.

Mana doesn't play guitar in the PV. We saw the full video at Kamijo's birthday event last weekend. There's no band playing any instruments. Kamijo and Mana are the only people in the video. It's sort of a simple set design and execution, but basically the video follows the story of Louis (Kamijo) being brought into the world of aesthetics by the vampire Mana. (I confess to hoping that Mana would bite Kamijo, but no such luck. Oh well.) IMO the guitar doesn't sound like Mana's playing.

The song as a whole reminded me of "The Love from a Dead Orchestra," "God Palace," "Tsukiyo no Kageki" and other songs where Kamijo tells a story through the the flow of the arrangement in addition to the lyrics. But it wasn't that long. Well, at least it didn't seem long. I'd assumed the instrumental part in Kamijo's first trailer was from the beginning of the song, but it's actually from the middle.

It sounds pretty legit, and the video description sounds like it will be very.....entertaining ::meev::

I'm kind of under the impression that Mana is involved in the same way Kamijo was involved with Juka's first solo release....meaning "not very involved" ::kisaki::

How much does Mana appear in the PV? Is it only a few glimpses, or a more extended appearance?

IIRC it was more like a few glimpses.

BTW, I'm pretty sure Kamijo's "V-kei have poison" tweet is referring to a part in an interview that just came out the other day. It's halfway down this page:

For those who can't read Japanese, basically he's saying that visual kei is like a poison. Once you get hooked on it, you can't escape. This goes for both band members and fans alike.
(edit) I think maybe the lyrics of "Louis" tie into this too.
