I didn't have enough cash to spare so I missed out. I'll end up getting the standard edition anyway, but it seems like a lot of international folk missed out because they were from the "wrong" country. Pretty sure there were only a handful of overseas countries you could get it shipped to which is such a shame... He should really consider Kickstarter next time.

Either way even if it's a cover album I'm interested to see what'll be covered. I can imagine it'll include a mix of enka, chanson, diva classics... maybe even a Dead or Alive cover? ::meev::

Edit: actually, i think his vocals would really suit Pete Burns, maybe even some Morrissey.

So, Kaya is relaunching his official fan club: https://lounge.dmm.com/detail/1736/
Everyone around the world is free to join! For a modest fee of 3240 yen PER MONTH.
As much as I love Kaya, I am not paying 40 000 yen a year for a fan club membership.
    Is he delusional?!

Yeah, I think the only way that would be remotely worth it is if you live in Japan and plan to go to every single one of those FC-exclusive lives and meetups. But even then I bet he still expects you to pay for tickets ::cred::

Hm, I hope it won't cover presales of SS tickets :/ If I remember correctly, members of Kaya's fanclub could buy tickets for the first 2 SS lives before nonmembers. (not that it mattered then...there wasn't even a line infront of the venue at their second live XD)

I honestly wasn't expecting Közi to be in here, although I know they usually hang together, but it's not that bad of a surprise.

I totally endorse this selection (hat tip to @faith for introducing this one to me)
But really, this list speaks volumes about just who Kaya's fanbase is these days.

Are you kidding?!?!?! Their cover of Voyage Voyage was Ralphworthy. Hora's the Wink fan, not I XD

Mi Amore is my favorite Nakamori song. But I don't need a cover of it - I like her version just fine :(

    Seriously XD
Anyhow, if I had voted, I would have voted for "A>Mujou" by An Lewis or "Dancing Hero" by Oginome Yoko just cause.

I think most people voted for songs they know Kaya likes, especially as many of them are songs Kaya has performed at his chanson events.
Anyways, my song was not chosen ::hora::

Disappointed there aren't a few other Western songs... I really thought this would be a cool mashup but it's really... Not.

Well, despite Kaya's extensive international touring, it seems like when the chips are down, the bulk of the fanbase is still highly Japanese and highly oriented toward what is now considered "oldies" 80s girl pop music. Probably none of them really miss the Schwarz Stein days XD

By the way, did anyone look up more of these songs? Check out this Arabian number complete with camels

Hm. I probably would have voted for a song by Shazna or something. I think Kaya could do a pretty good version of September Love or Magenta Story
