The main site dissappeared!
Lejun let the domain expire without transferring it to me. I'll see if there is anything I can do.
EDIT Actually I'm not sure if it's expired or not. The expiration date has passed but he's still listed as the owner. The web hosting my have just expired, but that is not as big a deal. I have a backup of the HTML for the main site.
I also noticed it was down :/ Well I'm so happy you guys kept back up html files&content~!!
I don't have any of the images, just the HTML. Hopefully Lejun has backups of the full site.
nooooooooooooooooo!! I hope his hosting hasn't expired; just his domain.
The site is dead anyways, yo...
Dammit, that means I can't prove that DDRSENSEI plagiarized me that tool.
Not true; we actually have plans to start working on it in earnest once Navate gets back from vacation.
That news makes me a happy panda.
ah okay...just happy that the site isn't truly dead~
Anyone have any good ideas for a new domain name if I can't get the original one back? It might cost $200 or even more to get it back, in the worst-case scenario.
Would be good... If it's possible. :/
Not possible to have a domain starting or ending with a dash.
scapelec.com is available though
I wonder if we could get a .museum address? The main site is a museum, right?
EDIT: I said that as a joke but it could actually work XD
Is everything going to be rennovated from the ground foundation up?
*happy, happy* Genuine information! in english! SWEET! I agree with the 'Scape.info' ... for now.
Put up a poll?
I'm liking the ".info". It's definately an information-orientated site- it sounds like the image -scape- has- informative, non-rumory. Very professional sounding.^^
Well, whatever you register it as, it's good that you're getting the site back up and fully operational. Go Flowers!
Already taken. Just about all the domains of scape.something are taken. Except maybe scape.name but that just sucks. The only other alternative I can think of is a "country" extension but those are kind of lame too. I never really liked .us myself, but it's in all the links and search engines now...
Separate names with a comma.
