Before anyone else mentions this since I have written this elsewhere, I noticed the other day that ESP Museum has started putting the phrase ~Another Memories~ on their photos of the MALICE MIZER 25th Anniversary exhibit. Since the concerts and exhibit are over, it's probably a safe bet that Mana has decided to use this phrase for anything new that may be coming out, including video.

So we wait for the official announcement.

Well I'm officially on the hype train.
Still waiting for my tour pamphlet to come in from CDJapan, they took their sweet time shipping it.

Did they ship it yet? I'm now seeing a delay on that item. As for the concert goods, still nothing. I am wondering if there was another delay from the manufacturer? I wish there had been a way for people who attended the concert to be able to order without having to go through CD Japan. People who ordered from Midi:Nette got their items a couple weeks ago.

It looks like CD Japan is waiting for the items from the supplier. Still.

And now I see it's a three day holiday in Japan, and CD Japan is closed on weekends so it's going to be a few more days.

Yeah, they shipped it on 9/30 after I ordered it on 9/14. But I used the cheap shipping so it's not here yet. There must have been huge demand for it ::cred::

It's now on back order. I just checked and some items are now delayed on Midi:Nette also. Hitomi just got his items today. Guess he received a full set of stuff.

They had the same problem last time, with shirts selling out during the concert. I guess they keep underestimating the demand.

I just wish CD Japan would send some kind of notice. My first order was on 9/14. I wouldn't be so impatient except for the fact that I had planned to buy things at the concert. So this feels like the second delay for me. Plus getting hit with shipping since they weren't available at the concert.

And I just checked and the last run of shirts for the Aristocrat shows were made in China so it's possible the typhoons may be part of the reason for the delays. No flying or sailing ships in that kind of weather.

It is interesting. It has been drip, drip, drip with the ESP tweets. One a day, with the new phrase on them. I'm wondering if there is a bit of a plan since they didn't post all of them in the same day. It would be actually good if there is a media plan to get some excitement built up. It's not something Mana has done before really, world wide, but it would be more in tune with how things are done nowadays. And with MALICE MIZER showing up on social media more, it would be smart to capture some of that to promote a dvd.

I wish they'd held off on releasing the pamphlet, beefed it out with photos and information from the exhibition/museum/archives and released a proper commemorative book. Something like 'retour' would have been fantastic.

Yeah, it would be great if they made a complete "live history" book with photos and setlists. Think of how many odds and ends we only know about because of that one book.

I got the pamphlet in today, and while it doesn't have the same kind of closeups they're posting at the ESP Museum, I really liked it. The photos had the feel of a booklet for an imaginary reunion single or something. And it was nice to see Yukari Ohba back to do another round of costumes as well.

@flowersofnight thanks for confirming about Oobha Yukari! The moment I saw the outfits she immediately came to mind! SO HAPPY that she returned to do these costumes, her work is simply exceptional.

I think Yu~ki confirmed in his tweets as well - did he come back to see her for more alterations recently? (Machine translations will be the death of me -- Time to study!::coke::)

He did, and the others also hinted about it before the show. Since Ohba was their best known designer, and they said they were returning, it made sense it was Ohba.
I think Yu~ki was writing about when the outfit was being made. (tense is a pain to figure out in Japanese sometimes) Mana also tweeted tonight about getting the skirt part made. About trying it on, twirling, making sure it looked lovely while dancing.

Happy 10/10 everyone. It's MALICE MIZER's brilliant day

Not to mention she goes way back with them. I forget exactly how far, but definitely since sometime in their indies days.

Mana tweeted the link to the BARKS magazine review of DSVI. It includes photos and the message that was on the screen at the end of the concerts, so now everyone can read it.

I'm going to start a new thread with this since I am sure people will want to see it and it's kind of buried in this thread.
