so... look the statues on Matenrou U-RA-GI-RI... and MM SADNESS/SPEED OF DESPERATE demos, is: Beata Ludovica Albertoni
Hello detectives! There's a lot of pictures in Malice Mizer albums/singles etc. Where they come from? For example... St. Vitus Cathedral (Praha) from Bara no Seido cover Do you have any other informations about other photos? (example: memoire cover on back - forest road; apres midi - cover; etc...) I think it's great idea to find what are these places. What do you think?
What I'm curious is where the "Apres Midi" era photoshoots were done: http://www.prideofmind.com/data/newscans/mm95.jpg There can't be too many places like that in Tokyo. Other "Malice Mizer places": they did a photoshoot loitering around Aoyama Cemetery in Tokyo back in 1993: http://www.scape.sc/images/mm1993front.jpg And their vampire movie was filmed at Lockheart Castle in Gunma-ken.
Flowers, from what does the second picture you posted come from? Looks like it's nothing official since you can see the flash in their eyes X'D
Eummm idk if this works but I think its okay to think that Malice Mizer took their calligraphy and title for their demotape from Mylène Farmer. (They even played her song "Sans Logique" as a prologue in the Tetsu era lives SO WE KNOW THEY LIKED THE SONG/her) http://991.com/NewGallery/Mylene-Farmer ... -28722.jpg
Mana has never made a secret of it (that he liked her)! Though I would like to know what he thinks of her now =o! That woud be interedting because her music and her style has changed a lot!
An old member here, Emirufish, found the symbol they use here and there on the inside of one of her CD jackets. The one on the scape side menu http://www.scape.sc/ I was never sure if Malice got it from Mylene, or if they both got it from somewhere else though. Btw,Dunno what Mana thinks, but IMH and unwarranted O, now she's like going to see an Opera and finding out they've replaced the vikings with gangsters and the castle in the background with Centre Pompidou. Of value in a modern artsy way but disappointing compared to before. PS that thing with her niece was just dumb.
Lisa Gautier. She did one song - Drole de Creepie. Thankfully no more than that. Though I did like her dress.
