That makes mana more 'human' again LOL I do think human need some kind of 'passion' on having friends sharing the same kind of view that you have, otherwise life is so lonely and those men are like ...forbidden to love. Mana always appears to be so mysterious/magical, like to the extend that he doesn't need anyone. I'm glad that Mana found his soulmate in his life (assume the article's saying the facts) V///V, and well then i feel happy that he would never feel lonely(OMG why his life is so beautiful?) Whenever i read his interview i find myself agree so MUCH with him his value. I do understand how is it like of the situation 'The things we aim for and the things we value are one and the same', i do have a soulmate with me actually, we seldom meet and talk, but we understand each other well, we even know what would be the step each other gonna do on particular issue,it is truely all about the 'spirit', we don't 'own' each other but the understanding bond us together. So, that's sweet, really~

Although that is obviously not the case with M10M, and Mana does value his music and pride himself as an artist, I think that the stereotype of vis kei and bands who wear make-up DOES exist for a reason. Before the bands were actually good, IMO. But nowadays there seem to be a lot of horrible, mainstream visual bands who only have fans because they are "cute". Conversely, even if the music does have value, if the members are ugly they probably won't have fans. Thus is the entire scene for predominantly younger people...which isn't bad or wrong, but as I get older I'm a little ashamed to even be connected to visual bands :/
first: having an anam cara doesn't necessarily mean they are lovers. I think they kinda tricked them into making it sound that way. Mana said, "beyond what men and women usually share", to me that suggests a platonic bond. Not that it matters, but in my mind, a true and profound friendship can be far more stable and meaningful than a lovers relationship. Secondly: it is deeply frustrating when people think that Mana cares more about his fashion and looks than his music. Even if you're not a huge fan of M10M style, it can't be denied that Mana invests a huge amount of his creative energy and focus into the music itself. Case in point: Dixanadu special edition: why showcase the music if it's not important?
^ Did you ever read mana's rant about how they discontinued his favorite eyeliner and how he asked everyone to send him it if they found it in their area? Not to say he doesn't care about his music, but the ideas that he cares greatly about his appearance aren't exactly unfounded either.
Kyuketsuki wrote: Umm, righttt. That doesn't really prove it i think. I mean like......erm, he just like his favourite eyeliner? and really wants it? lol....but hey, he ranted about that?!?! omg, that is so cute.seriously.
@Hikaru: Well, nothing can prove anything if you refuse to be convinced or don't want to see any reason to believe any differently than you already do. But to answer your question, yes, he did in an issue of madosho many months ago. He also talked about the importance of image and makeup whilst mourning said eyeliner. @Cerceux: Sorry. XD Yeah, I think me and Amatsu and a couple others mentioned it here and there at the time it came out since we're sort of not allowed to quote anything. >.>;; It was too funny not to talk about.
^ Good lord, you post too fast!! I had to edit my post if you'll go see because you posted too soon before I could.
oh okay. but hmm, which of them don't care about image? Not trying to argue..but yea... maybe we should stop discussing about this. it dont seems to be going anywhere.
hikaru wrote: My post on the previous page clearly denotes to whom I am speaking, if that's what you mean. The point of all this is don't make claims that are objective and variable for the most part that you'd have to know them personally to make anyway and then get up in arms because someone doesn't agree with your opinion. Things like looks shouldn't matter anyway since they're musicians and it should be the music we're interested in to begin with.
Kyuketsuki wrote: I did not say that he did not care about his looks. Please actually read what I say before you put words in my mouth. I said it was frustrating when people think he cares more about fashion than music. He has been asked which is more important to him and he has said they were equal and he would not want to do without either.
