"Merveilles" : european release

I thought you may want to know that (according to jmusiceuropa) "Merveilles" will be released on january 26th by Mabell, although I don't really understand the interest of it. As they call it an "european release", we may expect them to add some lyrics translations or such... but they should guess that every fan of Malice Mizer already owns his copy of this album !

The good point is that it will cost only 17, 90 euros.

Mabell didn't update their site with the info yet but I'll post the link when it will be available.

Sounds so weird to me that I thought it was a joke at first. But that would be the first time I'd see a joke or wrong info on JaME... >__<

I posted about this ages ago.... Aside from the lyric translations which I guess it'll have (or has for sure? I've forgotten...), it's also going to be a 'special edition'. I think this means what we were hoping for - that it will be another first press Merveilles, book and all.

Ah, there's still something I wanted to add... something that seems a bit strange to me : I thought Mana had a kind of partnership with Mabell, selling his products and all, but how does it come that Mabell is up to releasing an "old" Malice Mizer album when they don't even have Nocturnal Opera in stock yet ? I mean, if Mana wants his fans to follow him and M10M, that's not the better thing to do...

merveilles is Malice Mizer's biggest selling album. Obviously Mana will choose that to let us try out.

Sorry, but your Gackt not being in Malice Mizer anymore is void since NO ONE is in Malice Mizer anymore.

No one is forcing you to buy it. If you don't want to buy it, don't. It's as simple as that. I on the other hand will be trying to but it somewhere.

PS. Just because Bara no Seidou is your favourite MM album doesn't mean that that is the album that should be rereleased.

I think it's a good idea, the album might be easy to find, but if it's in it's large book format, that's more then worth it, because the giant pictures are beautiful!

It's really great that all this VK is being released in Europe, and it can only mean that the market for it will open wider, meaning more European lives. Hooray.

Very true. They can't be all that wrong either since it is the No.2 item on Neotokyo's bestseller list (unless NT are cooking their sales figures). I guess that also means that you can pre-order it...

exactly. I mean seriously. The album is old, it has probably been bought by tons of people... but I have no doubt that there are tons more people that do not own it because a) too expensive to import, b) Never really had the means to import and/or c) never even heard of Malice Mizer or maybe have heard a little something... but were not going to shell out a bunch of cash to try them out...
