At that price... probably cheaper to import for Europe.

Well.. people are certainly going to be disappointed if they totally love the CD and then find out the band no longer exists. At this rate, an american release of anything should take.. 6 - 7 years, since thats just how long it took for it to be released in Europe.

Why are they even releasing this album? o_o Release Bara no Seidou at least.. argh, stuff like this pisses me off. Not that I'd actually buy it ( because I have the original and its.. Merveilles and I don't really enjoy Gackt Malice Mizer ) but it's a bit late to release an album who's singer is no longer with the band.. sounds like to me like someone just wants to make money off it. They're really sucking this album dry.

merveilles is Malice Mizer's biggest selling album. Obviously Mana will choose that to let us try out.

Sorry, but your Gackt not being in Malice Mizer anymore is void since NO ONE is in Malice Mizer anymore.

No one is forcing you to buy it. If you don't want to buy it, don't. It's as simple as that. I on the other hand will be trying to but it somewhere.

PS. Just because Bara no Seidou is your favourite MM album doesn't mean that that is the album that should be rereleased.

Actually, M+M is on hiatus. Not really a disbandment. Especially since Mana hinted at some possible M+M activity in the future at that thingy in France. ;)

This has nothing to do with me buying it. Like I said, I have the original.

PS. Bara no Seidou is my favorite album, but has nothing to do with the reason I think it should be released instead of Merveilles. My reason is that if M+M was to reform it would probably be the basis for the style the band would resume in. Seeing the mode Mana is in with Moi dix Mois only furthers my reason for thinking in such a way.

( Sorry for the double post. )

I honestly don't think they're going to reform (just my opinion though)

But yeah, I think Merveilles was what Malice Mizer was ideologically and visually all about to a lot of fans, and maybe even the band itself. It makes perfect sense that they'd chose to release it as exemplifying their world.

It's not anti-Gackt. My like or dislike for him was make completely moot by my desire to stick google eyes on his head ^^

So don't worry; your Gackt is safe with me...

Unless this is infact another "Book" release, then i'm not buying it. I see no need to.

The First Pressings of Merveilles were booksized, kinda of like Bara no Seidou is. I'm not sure how many pages it was, 24 maybe?, but it had pictures and what not.

I'll probably buy it either way, just to show the distributors that there's demand for Malice Mizer. That's the best way to make sure better CDs from their oeuvre get released later on

That's true. Though, i'm quite sure there will be some differances between it and the Japan release. Other than the possible translations.

so will there be the book type version? If they do, I hope it doesn't look exactly the same as the JPN ver because people can trick others =\

It would be cool if it came with a mini-photobook though~
