maybe they receive lots of mail of people froms those country saying they can't go to paris and they would loe to have them home and that's why they do this contry this year?

I mean not everyone can go oversease to see them... I never went to germany to see a band but when they come to paris i can nearly always go of i want...

I don't think there's a danger that any more dates will be cancelled – the problem with Germany was that M10M could never have filled 5 venues of 1000+ capacity when bigger bands like Dir en grey or Gazette can't even fill 3. The organisers should have realised that from the start. There's also an announcement on Contra Promotion's website saying that all other dates will take place as planned:

http://www.contrapromotion.com/contrapr ... index.html

I don't think M10M expect a massive turnout everywhere they go. Of course they'll be happy if attendance is good (and disappointed if it's really crap) but I think they just want to play for their fans in those countries. If bands only played where they can expect huge crowds they'd hardly go anywhere.

i agree with you...

yes, 5 concerts was little bit too much, even from Mana.. its hard almost to every artist/band to fill 5 venues in same country within 7 days ::bleh::

Yes I think that fans end up going somewhere else than their hometowns (you have to be very lucky to have a concert in your city...) and the 5 Germany dates would have messed that up. In Spain I know many people who are taking the bus or train to the Barcelona and Madrid lives, and that may mean... many people! *_* I hope so! (Just in case... everyone, come here! lol)

Official word is in from Mon+Amour:

Mon+Amour email wrote:
We have received the following news from the organizers of the European tour:

DUE TO LOGISTICAL REASONS THE SHOWS IN HAMBURG, BERLIN AND LEIPZIG NEED TO BE CANCELLED.
TICKET OWNERS CAN EXCHANGE THEIR TICKETS.

That's the entirety of what it says. I guess those who bought tickets should take it up with whoever they bought it from.

you know, mana should play in smaller places which fill up better.
i myself think that smaller venues are more fun than bigger venues.

i remember some video footage that was on the Scars of Sabbath DVD, in which they played in wat seems to be very small venues, like a big café with a little stage.
Kinda like an amature band just starting a little tour in little places

performances like that are the coolest performances ever.

maybe he should try that again in countries where he hasn't been before.

it's in the extra's of the DVD

Well, I don't -think- it was in Scars of Sabbath. In Invite to Immorality it is much smaller for sure.

^ I think they're talking about the DVD extra that shows them playing "Forbidden". It's the one where Mana is dressed in EGL and EGA, and he falls into the audience at the end.

They're preforming in a way smaller venue than the actual Scars of Sabbath tour.

I know @___@ Is there no chance you can give your tickets back?

Mhh o_o *is assuming things* Maybe that's why the Aesthetics has only been that short and pointy? Like saying. "Well nice in Japan. We don't succeed in Europe. I fail." No but really, that is sad for him =/
I guess he was really excited that their organizers set so many dates and I imagine him to have been squishie about it and like " ::squee:: " and now he gets told three concerts have to be cancelled...?
*hugs Mana and gives him a nice cake*

you are correct :)
appearantly Garnet in the Eden didn't saw that part of the dvd yet :p

anyway
mana should do more of that kind of shows, i think those kind of shows are way more personal and stuff like that, rather than shows in huuge venues. I myself prefer small venues because the band and the audience are closer to each other.

OH YES.

I remember now. Sorry! T__T. It's the part where Mana wears what Sugiya is wearing in the back cover of Dixanadu Limited edition and there are lots of crosses in the background.

:) Sorry.

well Mana said long time ago that the problem with small venue was for the sound... their guitar and the synth were not sounding good and it was sometime horrible for them to play in some small japanese venue ...

@ garnet: lol it's allright :p

as for bad sound in small venues?
hmm, i've never experienced it, but knowing that mana is such a perfectionist, and that, if i'm correct, japan is not really a country with a lot of metal-music (thus not suporting it very good), then yeah, i can understand that mana's does not like to play at small venues :p

small venues also don't have a lot of reverb (echo), maybe that's why mana doesn't like it as well

Me too, plus I'll be stuck in Hamburg doing tourism for 3 days before I can go to Krefeld. Going back to the UK and then out to Germany again would have been too expensive since I had already booked my flight.

Aww T-T. Can't you both go to the places you spent money to travel to on a visit anyway?:)
