As far as I am aware Booth take PayPal, so you could always pre-order it with my address and I'll forward it out to you once it arrives.

Posting MANITOS content is almost like cheating at this point, like shooting fish in a barrel, but this is particularly ghastly XD

Anyhow, the popup store is all over now and the truck has been scrapped. Meanwhile, Mana continues to precisely calibrate his platform shoes to be the tallest of any grouping.

losing my mind seeing the new generation of cringe and internet parasocial flattery being thrown Mana's way LMAO
I live to serve ::gaku::

By-the-by, I picked up a copy of the tarot card book. The photos ranged from genuinely excellent to stupid, with most of them being solid efforts. Each card has one full-page image with a CGI background, and then a couple pages of different shots of the model(s) on an empty background. And of course, they're all accessorized as if they robbed a Moitie store, positively dripping with cross necklaces and whatnot. There's even a "look book" page at the end telling you just which Moitie items were used on each page ::cred:: "Don't wait, buy NOW!"
It doesn't seem like there was any custom Moitie costuming - they either wear off-the-rack Moitie clothes or something else entirely.
The accompanying text is forgettable, but it is provided in both Japanese and English.

I wasn't sure where to post what I'm about to talk about, it's a general question but I didn’t think it necessarily deserved its own thread since there is no news.
Feel free to tell me to move this or delete this.

Today a friend asked me about Maglaia and I dug into history. I remember the first time I saw that name was when Reprise was released back in 2012 (I just checked my CD).

I dug into scape history but all we had were hypotheses and the fact that years later Maglaia was also mentionned when moitie ownership moved to Tanaqro.

These days Midi:Nette is mentionned again for Moi dix Mois goods.

After all this time, did more info about Maglaia ever come up? Does it exist anymore or (pure hypothesis) did Mana just buy back Midi:Nette rights from Mrs Itoh?
In the end Yukie Itoh was always the name mentionned with Midi:Nette back in the day but we haven’t heard a word about her name in centuries.

Any info or thoughts on what the company (companies) situation is these days? Tanaqro seems only involved in MmM & not in the music part.
All I see on my Deep Sanctuary VI bluray is 'spyglass music'.
The photobook says Post-production: Crow Studio. At least I see the familiar name Taqeya for DVD Menu design. I don't see Maglaia or Midi:Nette anywhere.

As far as I'm aware there's never been any concrete information on the Maglaia/Midi:Nette thing. Even the whole thing about Yukie Itoh and who does/doesn't own rights was just speculation. And since Moi dix Mois pretty much never releases anything it's hard to make even an educated guess.

Fun fact: the wait for the supposed new Moi dix Mois album is now longer than Malice Mizer's entire career, and over half of Moi dix Mois' existence.

Interesting! Thanks for your replies!
I admit I even wondered to what extent these changes of companies contributed to Moi dix Mois' 10th Anniversary DVD & Mana's autobiography never seeing the light of day. Still depressed about that DVD not existing. Writing a book is a lot of work but if the DVD content is recorded....

Itoh san is still in charge of Midi:Nette, I know because *someone* (don't ask, can't tell) contacted her about doing a new MdM tour abroad, but she replied something like they are only interested (for now) in their small fanbase in Japan and because the c0ronavirus restrictions (this happened mid 2022 btw).

According to Jasrac, Maglaia (マグライア) is the ownership of every MALICE MIZER, Schwarz Stein (Midi:Nette era) and Moi dix Mois songs. Maybe Maglaia is a "fantasy" company to hide Mana's real name (the funny thing is that Manas name taken from his passport is still in those Brazilian sites LOL)

Ohh fascinating info, thanks a lot !! But if Maglaia owns all the music, what does Midi:Nette own, then? Just the goodies? Or the right to organise events? Hmmm

Taking a break from bagging on parched commenters: how about the new "vocalization guidelines"?
https://nitter.moomoo.me/pic/orig/media/FqhEOlwaEAAkAtp.jpg

Vocalization-OK Guidelines
Regarding vocalizing during performances, you must be wearing a mask of nonwoven fabric (I presume this just means "approved covid mask").
Singing along may be done at conversational volume. Moreover, as for cheering, when the performers take the stage and when the concert ends, it is permissible to call out once.
This notwithstanding, please refrain from any loud, continuous singing or cheering that might perturb the tranquility of your fellow patrons.

What is this all about, do any Japan hands know? Was there previously an outright cheering ban as some sort of anti-covid measure?
Or perhaps, was it banned purely with an eye toward the preservation and prolongation of the patrons' individual and collective equanimity?

Reading tweets from Japanese fans who attended previous MdM shows, they just "stood" there, silently, listening to Seth screaming and the band rocking, but fans were forbidden to shout at concerts to not spread the virus so ::erm::

Or perhaps, was it banned purely with an eye toward the preservation and prolongation of the patrons' individual and collective equanimity?

A seemingly Dix move.

I haven't encountered such skulduggery at any of the recent live shows I attended (namely, 黒色すみれ).

The most recent of which, patrons were encouraged to stuff as many yen bills as possible into the costuming of a lady with a penchant for dangling from ceilings.

I can confirm that when I went to a concert at the Budokan at the end of last year, singing along and cheering were both strictly forbidden.

Maybe smaller venues are starting to lighten restrictions?
