this is my thread xDDD

well, yesterday Mana post about his appearance in the TV, basically He didn't appear in the TV show xD:

***
If you checked out Homecoming, its been completely edited, hasn't it.

"Originally the lolita girls make a comment about me, and to accompany it they were going to use a magazine photo of me..."

my impression of the plans were something like that, but upon watching the results Σ○д●)ノ

In any case,
Fans who saw my monologue, and were waiting for my appearance thinking 'when is it, when is it,' while sitting in their living rooms were probably like,
(°□°)What, its over?
I feel really sorry about that~.

It would have been nice if the production company [TBS] would have put the information in at the end, even if it was just it at the last moment.
***

He still thinks he is popular xD... ah, and he post a postscript telling he is working on new songs with new software(?) but he has problems ::batsu::

LOL poor Mana, he was waiting all that time for someone to show a picture of a magazine with his picture in it, and they wouldn't even throw him a bone? XD
He'll just have to start his own Youtube channel, what can I say?

Mana post He sent the new song to the members and wonder about their reactions.

I hope we can hear the new song soon u___u I hope for a bombastic song, reminiscence from Bara no Seidou, a lot of harpsichord, organs, guitars, etc etc, but not the same average metal song.

I'll be fine with 'most any kind of song, as long as he moves on from the D+SECT style. I liked the album a lot, but "Je l'aime" was kind of a bore, so I think maybe he's done all he can with that style.

yeah, I remember myself criticising D+SECT back in 2010 but now I like these style. there a lot of innovative songs like Witchcraft, Pendulum (love it) and Dead Scape. If He made the new song something like those songs, I really going to like XD

edit:

Mana updated his last post and wrote this:

**********************
p.s.
It seems the sound source that carried over to the members is giving everyone shivers (smiles)
In the demonic new song... (By no means do I mean the Japanese kind) as is what we call our opinion of it, there is also...
a dark heavy & high speed, but also melodious feel to it, so from here I will further concrete it!

I hope you're looking forward to it!

Mana and Seiji just recorded the vocal track for the new song.

and he wrote "a new door will be open"... that means the continuation of "Beyond the Gate"?

I can't explain exactly why, but D+Sect is my least favorite album. I don't dislike it, but I got tired of it fairly quickly, while I keep coming back to the others.
I guess Dixanadu will always be special to me since that seemed to be the period when they were the most active, with a big European tour, a nice DVD, and then me getting to see them in LA. I think the first two albums had the best songs, and most interesting compositions (the drums sucked sometimes though). But D+Sect, despite some solid songs, just didn't have anything that really grabbed me. Maybe it was just my own waning interest, but at the time I was pretty excited about the new release.

Anyway that said, I still like them and would like to hear some new material.

I like D+Sect a lot. Je l'aime is so long and boring, hope the new album not going in that direction.

He hasn't announce when the new album will be released; would be nice if he release the new album in the Summer. I still want a DVD and autobiography.

Listening to Je L'aime makes me feel the need to watch Scars of Sabbath  The earlier Moi dix Mois concerts look like fun, I wish Mana would try stage diving again!

Does anyone think Mana's going to release a single before the album? He keeps mentioning just one song that he's working on in his blog posts - I don't think he's mentioned a full album in quite some time.

A new álbum? When he make a new song, the song is for the incoming live and then for an album. As far as we now he only have one new song. I don't think in a single or a new album. I don't trust in Manas word anymore XD what's about the new DVD and his autobiography? We have to wait forever!

I don't think he's ever going to do a single again. It's probably not worth the expense of doing a separate photoshoot, designing separate art, printing a small run of CD singles, etc. Like, since Dixanadu at least, I get the impression that he doesn't really do a huge amount of photography for each release as it is.

@voixdinferno - give Mana a little bit of a break, I have a feeling he lost a bunch of staff when he switched to "Maglaia". It's probably harder than usual for him to get anything done these days.

Considering he does EVERYTHING (lyrics, guitars, programming, arranging, writes all the other guitar and bass parts, etc...), I don't really expect too much from him too fast. Plus when he's working with something like a real choir, he has to arrange for all that recording to happen, book the studio space, pay the choir, arrange for rehearsals in addition to the final recording... People like Gackt and Luca Turili can do that because of how much studio and financial support they have but I have a feeling that a lot of what Mana is doing these days is all out of pocket... But as far as his staff is concerned I'm not sure because of the label change who all stayed on, who all left, how many staff members were there before... When he came to Seattle he had about 3 people with him and they were incredibly overworked...

But they used official Malice Mizer bags to hold all their supplies, so that was super cool
