Why ? For a woman, it's not unpleasant. It's normal, I'd say. I always thought women should be all in curves. I hate the fashion to be so thin. We are women. I think that tighs as thin and as musculate than stiicks are ugly.
I think it's because I don't know what you're talking about. I've worn knee socks before and I never saw anything noticeably like flab, the socks just fit. I don't know if I've ever seen thigh flab when wearing thigh high socks. I just looked up big girls on google taking pictures of themselves with thigh high or knee socks and they had no flab at all, it looked like the socks fit them nicely. So I think it depends on the socks you get.
Because when I think of "thigh flab" I'm thinking the equivalent to a muffin top, and I don't like the really bad muffin tops.
You may think I am strange. Sexually, I am not attracted by women but I like to look at pretty woman, the way they dress and really, i prefer to look at women with thigh flab than to those with sticks at the place of thighs. If we consider women in the history, those who were considered as queens of beauty weren't so thin. They were all in curves. Generally, the models for artists too.
Oh no, you're not strange at all. I'm not attracted to women sexually or romantically in any way, but I love women's bodies and the way women look, the way they're dressed, because I think they're beautiful, more than anything. I can't help but notice a beautiful girl on the subway or one from 1920s films. I have an album dedicated to "Women" and it has a ton of pictures of women I think are beautiful, photos of women I think are great, old paintings, sculptures, etc.The women are mostly from many years ago or ancient times. It depends. But I see many pretty girls, like you said, and I totally appreciate the way they're dressed and how they look. ^^
My old BFF was even looking up erotic pictures of women for her art class and she told me it's because she loved the female form, and she'd sketch so many good drawings of it. I totally understood her and I didn't think of it as strange at all, before that *I* thought I was the weird one. There's just something about the female form (especially in photos and paintings), that's really lovely.

^ For example, I love this sculpture, "Descending Night," by Adolph Alexander Weinman (I think I love all of his works XD).
Yeah I don't want stick figures but I'm not sure who would unless they were weird.
