It's that time again! This time around I've got 2 interesting releases to share:

First off: Misa's solo demo "kakuu no hitobito":

1. kakuu no hitobito
2. seishiga-zou
3. yuganda komen (Inst)
4. sosei?
5. kyokou no aruji
6. bokusatsu
7. genchou sekai
8. [katachi]
9. iwakan motsu nansou

My favorites: 4, 5, 8 ^_^ Reminds me of a cross between Misa's work in Da'vid/shito:aL and his later Klein Kaiser stuff.

And next up: Susumu Hirasawa's "science no yuurei" (1990):

1. sekai TURBINE
2. ROCKET
3. FISH SONG
4. COWBOY to INDIAN
5. QUIT
6. AMOR BUFFER
7. yume miru kikai
8. TECHNO no musume
9. FGG

I liked 5, 4, and 7 the best here... "QUIT" in particular being brilliant. I sort of get the feeling of "what is human?" from this album... except more from the perspective of a machine. What do you think?

Thanks! I love Misa's songs. Kinda wish he'd found someone else to sing them, though... nearly anyone would have been good. The music is as wonderful as Misa's always is but I don't think his vocals do it justice. ;_;

I think Misa's perfect to sing those songs... and I think his vocals always were a very good addition to his music (like in Da'vid or babylon)... there are a lot of japanese singers that sound the same, Misa may not be the most well trained one, but he is very personal and he transmites me a lot...

I know it was just your opinion but I wanted to say what I think too :P

Thank you very much Flowers, I'm loving Susumu Hirasawa more and more after every song I hear. I especially like "ROCKET", and Misa's demotape was a nice treat! thank you for that as well, I'm loving "Sosei?"

o.o! I love Susumu Hirasawa. Well, from what I've heard, anyway. *downloads frantically*

To quote a friend, Susumu Hirasawa is "*bird noises*
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOEEEEEEEEEYOOOOOOOOOOOOO EEEEEEE"

Yes :].

I fell in love with Misa the first second I heard the first track....... thanks for another obsession! Really makes me curious about Klein Kaiser and Da'vid whatever.....

What label was Klein Kaiser on? Key Party...?
