Glitter (200:cool: has been on there for a while as well ...

I actually like the music Last Snow. It's a little subdued for Kaya, but it's really pretty and most importantly, the instruments are real! The singing bothered me though ... it sounded way too much like the kiddy voice he used in creepy version of Chocolat.

Perverse Rendezvous was nice, but I think Kaya could have done better on both tracks.

If theres one thing I reaaaally dislike about Last Snow is the clarinet/sax/whatever-it-is drowning out Kaya's voice when he goes for a long vibratto... I think its the same with Barairo no Hibi.

Sorry to double post, but Kaya's Last Snow has been put on the Oricon: http://www.oricon.co.jp/music/release/d/793826/1/

It reached as high as 157 for 2 weeks.

Its about 50 down from Chocolat [I think Chocolat was 86] which is pretty bad for a major-label artist and I think Carmilla was even higher. Though for me, its not his best release and the novelty has just completely worn off.

However, the Live Digest still = win ^o^

Last snow: Suck. It's boring. I can almost promise I'll never listen to it again. :|

Bara iro no Hibi: Do I need to say anything? This song is just.... so bad. :|

Perverse Rendezvous: Best song on the single, and that's not a compliment. The chorus is kinda catchy. otherwise it sucks.

Kaya looses 3000 points. :| I was able to look over the cheesiness and overly flamboyant-ocity kaya conveyed before because his music was good, but if his releases keep sounding like this... :/

He's still got his looks, his pretty face... .... .. . .

But anyway, I do think the music for this release is lacking too.
He's good with the visual and lyrical, but since he can't compose his own songs he needs to work with people who can give him a solid foundation to work on top of.
Hora did a wonderful job with Chocolat, and Kalm's always been great. If he's going to branch out he should find people in other genres who can compose as well as they can...even though I think a lot of the fandom now cares more about his "kawaiiness" and image or sexuality than anything else so it won't matter anyway.
He's in the perfect position to become a gay idol XD And the chansons'll only help with that...

And don't underestimate the importance of BODY LANGUAGE!

Perverse Rendevous has really grown on me, I love it ::squee::

Yes, he's got a lot of that too ::kisaki:: drat my dry thighs!

It's the best on the album and the lyrics are good.
I wish someone would write a song like that about me if it weren't for the creepy stalker-like elements.
Hopefully he'll explain the lyrics some day cause it would be really interesting to know what invited them

But... I like his singing. It's soothing.

I wasn't impressed with this single at all. Perverse Rendezvous was okay, but it was no pourriture noble.

The only song I really like is Perverse Rendezvous, but it's still not that great. I love the opera-ish part, I don't know how to describe that, but yeah. That part is too short, though.

Anyway, the lyrics are good. Reminds me of having a straight crush, only in Kaya's case maybe this guy is bi and had a fling with him and now is back with women, and naturally Kaya is quite upset about this. :P Regardless, the breathing/stalking/killing of the girlfriend is pretty obsessive and creepy, but hey!

Anyway, kinda tired of his current direction. I miss Schwarz Stein more and more with every new release...:/ I really liked the Japanese concept minialbum, though. I'm not looking forward to these cover song minialbums at all.

This. =/

Pfft~ The moment I start caring about Kaya's looks more than how his music touches me, is the moment that I might as well give up on my ideals on 'what's inside counts more than what's on the outside'.

I see what you mean, but I wouldn't judge a guy who identified themselves as bisexual. I mean, unless there's scientific evidence proving bisexuality doesn't exist, anyway.

Regardless, she said "bi man" which made me think she still believes women can be bi.

I honestly don't know much about being bi, but there could be some people here who consider themselves bisexual, so...could be disrespectful is all.

I have received a single today... and I've just watched a DVD and now I want to say only this: Kaya should have released THIS full live on DVD, not Salon Du Chocolat!

LOL @ pink feather fans.
i know damn well i would buy one and shake around like the tranny inside wants to do if i had the chance....

but i was thinking maybe Kaya should do like a dark version where instead of fans go to whips & chains, kind of S&M schwarz stein stuff and have strippers instead of drag queens...
I'd probably do that. >o<
