It's kind of refreshing to see teenagers on here again. Maybe I'm weird.

Good. Because I think scape is way more fun with teenagers around. Maybe that's because most of us were teenagers when I first got here.

I wasn't, but it's nice having a fresh approach to the music that brought us together. And knowing that young people enjoy it too. :)

Yeah. It really makes me happy that young people still get into Malice Mizer. I don't want to seem like a huge loser or anything, but MM was kind of an important influence on my during my teenage years.

Anyway, I just noticed that tomorrow will be my 6 year anniversary on Scape!

Well I am glad, Malice Mizer is important for me also. They gave me some kind of courage and openness that I didn't have before. But it seems like people of my age from here don't really know about them or at all. So that must be why there isn't a lot of teenagers on here...

It always seems so strange to me that everybody knows and seems to like Mylène Farmer, when she sings in French only.

What is nice is that everybody has a different reason for loving this or that band or artist. And it is nice that artists should exert an important influence on us. When you are a teenager, you need to find who you are, and artists are a great help. :) And even when you ceased being a teenager a long long time ago, you may still fall in love with an artist or a band. The need for something beautiful and inspiring never dies. :P

Well I am French speaker so its one of the reasons I like her but actually I bought her album because I realized how she was an influence for Malice Mizer in some ways. But she's great, her video clips are incredible. They are all so high budget and like a movie. I have a lot of respect for her <3

I consider the bands that I like very important for me also, it does help to find the real you. I hope I still find bands that I love in the future when I won't be a teenager anymore :P

Do you know she was born in Canada and lived there till she was 8?

Yes, she always wanted huge and incredible shows, no matter how much they cost, but for that reason she could never tour abroad. And her early video clips were actual short movies.

I am old enough to say that what you liked as a teenager and a young adult will always bring a smile to your face when you see or hear it later in life, even if you can't believe you were crazy about it at the time. Brings back so many memories, so many faces.

Yes I knew about her being born in pierfonds because I actually lived there (She was gone at that time but still haha), and I knew the thing about the shows being expensive but I didnt know it was the real reason she toured abroad...(but I think she did tour in Europe)and the short movies with Laurent Boutonnat <3. I obsessed over her for a time and watched 2-3 documentaries about her, she's such an interesting being IMO.

Well I hope I will think like that too :P

Hello, I'm Kashka.
I was a regular member here quite a while ago and decided to start posting again after years of lurk-mode.

I don't remember any of my old account details though, so I made a new account. Hope that's okay...

Good to see you all again. :)
