Question about things that aren't out of print

Ok, say I was wanting this video file from a concert (I'll say S-CONSCIOUS from merveilles l'espace).

If I posted proof that I owned merveilles l'espace on VHS/DVD and posted a message asking for someone to PM me so I can get the file, would that be allowed? I don't think I'd breaking the law since I own the concert... But I dunno if it would be allowed here

Nope, not allowed. If we allow this, we the moderators will have to get into the business of determining whether everyone's "proof" is valid or not, etc. That's just not practical. More to the point, I think the forum gets along just fine without allowing the trading of in-print stuff so there's no compelling reason to change the rules.
