https://twitter.com/yamamoto_sakura this person's collection ♥____________♥

ya'll should look I wouldn't be surprised if there's some items that we didn't know existed, their collection is impressive to say the least.

They also have a huge bootleg collection :

Yeah I've seen their tweets. I'm glad you put a link to their account. There is some impressive stuff. I hope no one starts bugging them trying to buy stuff from them or get copies.

It is interesting how lately there have been more people pulling out their old collections and posting them on Twitter. It's fun to search to see what people have. It's why I think prices may be going up. A lot of people reliving their younger years.

Today I found some old worksheets in my desk from a previous teacher's class. She was from America and asked students to write what they know about America, nearly every response was either Hamburgers, Trump, or Hero Trump.

rumors online it was lost or destroyed
Ordinarily I would say this is ridiculous, but... given that this is Japan, you never know.
I'm hoping that the next step in Yu~ki's "cleanup" doesn't involve throwing this all out XD

I assumed it had something to do with the young girl, maybe they couldn't get a model release or something arranged. I'd have to rewatch it to make sure, but from what I remember the live footage was spliced in in place of her.

To the individual who tried signing up here with their full real name as their username: that's a bad idea, try again with some other username.
I had to provide a username for Rakuten the other day, they suggest not using your real name for the signup, then the example on the textbox was 'JohnDoe'.

Issues with parental consent to release footage, maybe? I only know very little about laws regarding minors over there (mostly regarding legal age to be tried as an adult, boy/girl "A", etc.) What am I missing something here? - cut me some slack I've been gone for more than a decade!

The only 'facts' we have are:

1. The original broadcast video wasn't commercially released.
2. The major difference between the versions is the omission of the girl.
3. A video release was planned and announced, but never materialised.

If I had my FC issues and magazine clippings here, and enough time I would try and extrapolate a potential timeline to see where something went wrong, but I don't have either.

Wait, I'm confused... isn't the Gardenia MV the very blurry white one that is on the Cardinal DVD? Or is that not the original one? Seriously confused here...
There are two versions, one was in a TV broadcast and is assumed to be the 'real' version, there are extra scenes and a small girl that resembles the doll. The TV broadcast version doesn't have the live footage from the Gardenia tour spliced in.

It's generally held that this version was 'lost' somehow and that is why the Gardenia~de l'image~ release was cancelled.

Oooh ok! I had no idea!
I've always been interested in weird crop on the Cardinal cover. They could have easily blended the top and bottom to red and black respectively, but they didn't.(The included booklet even has a taller version of the artwork too!)

You can see the same crop on the back of the box too... It makes me wonder if they were originally planning on releasing it in a different packaging, maybe with a slipcase (but they would still need the correct packaging dimensions for that), or in a digibook like 薔薇の聖堂? 薔薇の聖堂, Merveilles and memoire all used that same framing, but they actually used the framing for logos and titles... this just seems messy in contrast (The more I look at it, the more it looks like the titles were originally meant to go in the black space).
