From the merchants of sleaze: a profile on Kaoru Kinjo (noted soloist and collaborator with Michiro Endo and Susumu Hirasawa, among others), who was apparently royalty before her apparent untimely death.

From "FRIDAY" 6/24/1988:

My loose translation:

Not Your Ordinary Princess
Kaoru Kinjo's "Voice, Scent, and Glamour"

The 25th-generation heir to the Nanzan dynasty is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter deeply inspired by Mishima

Call out "Madam" (ojousama), and this peculiar gal will turn on the spot to face you. But if you should call out "Princess", the headstrong girl will likely give you the cold shoulder. Kaoru Kinjo (22), who has recently released her debut album "Avena" on NEC Avenue, stands 160cm tall, weighs 44kg, and measures 85-54-85 (5'2", 99lb, 33.5-21.2-33.5). What's more, she is a genuine princess, from the bloodline of the Nanzan (Ryukyu) royal dynasty.
Some might object: "What's all this talk of 85cm bust and 85cm hips got to do with being a princess?" But the fact of the matter is, this princess has a splendid figure and the fact simply must be stated.
Founded in the 14th century, the Nanzan dynasty was one of the ruling dynasties in the Ryukyu archipelago, and she is the 25th successor to the line.
Kaoru relates, "When I was in middle school, my mother told me: 'If all goes well, you'll be a princess.' At the time I didn't really get it, but then in high school, my grand-uncle returned to Japan from Peru, and summoned the extended family for a meeting at the Imperial Hotel. I had no particular feelings on this."
It seems the royal house has an large urn of incense ashes saved over the centuries, with which members of the bloodline are anointed - a tradition that has endured for generation after generation.
So, why did such a royal personage become a singer?
"I like people who have personality - self-assurance, strong energy. Since childhood, that's what I've wanted to be. Music is how I want to live out that ideal."
The princess relates that in her 6th year of elementary school, she read Yukio Mishima's "Music", which "profoundly moved" her. She was instantly taken with it.
In high school, she started writing music; in college her band's demo tape earned recognition at an audition, setting the stage for her debut. On her current album she composed all the music and lyrics with ease. The princess is not only a beauty with an 85cm bust, but a genuine talent as well.
What's more: "I've seen UFOs a few times. And though it's scary, I can see ghosts too. Every night, I see drowned people in my dreams. It's horrible to think about, but in Okinawa the tombs of my ancestors have been flooded and their bones are drifting in the tide. How ghastly!"
Whaaaaat? Is she a psychic too?
She is taking time off from her second year of art school, where she was studying Japanese paintings, in order to give her undivided attention to her musical career. On her new album, backed by a 40-piece orchestra, she sings mysterious love songs of an ambiguous national character.
As for her taste in movies, she likes Fellini's "La Dolce Vita". This princess' "voice, scent, and glamour" are curious indeed.

I don't know if I believe a word of this XD But there's probably some dead-end monarchist out there keeping track of who the actual Nanzan heirs are, so in theory it could be fact-checked.
I also don't know what's with all the textual leering over an 85cm bust. Must be a requirement of the genre.

Perfect size for motor-boating.

Do you have a link to any of her music or any more information on her untimely death? Was it a drowning?

That might have been something in Toriyama's heyday, but here in modern-day America even the men are 85cm and up ::gaku::

Do you have a link to any of her music

Her most famous song:

Album:

About the ostensible death: as far as I can tell it's something that just popped up on the interweb, but everyone seems to believe it. Supposedly it would have been around 2002 in Okinawa, which would have made her around 36 at the time.

Honestly, that sounds distinctly like music. I really have no other impression of it...

But as a woman I kind of feel like I should step in and be like what even. A 85cm bra size isn't even about the boobs - it's the measurement around the ribcage. If someone's 85A then there's no mofumofu to be had. If they're 80C it's a different story.
Is it different in Japan or something? Or was the DBZ guy uninformed about women lol

Sure, but we're talking about tabloid filth from a more refined age - they wouldn't be so brazen as to publish the bra size of an authentic princess ::meev::

I wonder if they include that information nowadays, as the world has moved on.

Now Bulma on the other hand... yeah, I dunno XD

Met some covert lolitas on a business trip to ATL and it made me a bit nostalgic. Thinking how Mana used to be like.. a God to me when I was a teenager. But now I keep thinking about this stan twitter phrase "Go Girl give us nothing" lmao. (I know he works hard, don't mean to disrespect, but I just wish we could've gotten something more from MDM in terms of different instrumentation :( It's been giving 2002 for like 20 years now. no shade...)

If they were covert, how did you recognize them? ::meev::

In fairness, like 12 of those years have been absolutely nothing. The wait for the supposed next album is by now longer than M10M's entire career up until "D+SECT".
... Not that I'm expecting anything really avant-garde whenever he finally finishes it, mind you.

We were having casual conversation about travelling and they mentioned going to a fashion convention on their last travel, and after prying a bit I figured out it was about jfashion ahah.

I had no idea it had been that long my god... it's unfortunate to think that MM was able to come up with a different concept, style and genre on each of their offerings in a shorter timespan. It seems a bit like a regression. I hope to hear something fresh and impactful again from the figures of the 90's synth goth scene :,)

Yeah, it really is underestimated how important it was that MM had multiple creative leaders - whereas Mana is the one and only "Master Of Moi Dix Mois".
Plus, I think Mana developed some sort of aversion to the frou-frou French and girly stuff from Malice Mizer ::mana:: It was ages before he ever made an appearance in EGL for M10M. So he really gave up one one of his major styles.

Meanwhile we had the Australian PM or whoever congratulate us on electing Macron, for the continued collaboration between our two countries.
So what, you gonna buy some submarines, bro? XD

Also, my friend bought me some paneer (since I love it).
It was a really nice gesture on his part, but now I'm in a bit of a jam becuase I need to figure out how to cook it and my default cooking style is 'throw stuff in miso soup'...
If you all don't hear from me again it's probably because of death from cooking paneer. I don't even own a blender so hulk smash it is.

I sense sarcasm. In all honesty, I really can't be bothered to remember most politicians' names and/or their exact titles.
They're mostly interchangeable garbage anyway. Including Macron. He's just...less...garbage than Trump Lady.

I sense sarcasm.
There was a lot of bouncing back and forth between people and parties a few years ago, as a result the police dropped the 'who is the current prime minister' question as a sobriety test.

From Monday: visited the Book Barn on my way through New England and caught all the cats in one shot

All the cats in that location, that is.
