Lately, when I post sometimes I get the message:

"You don't have permission to access /scapeforums/posting.php on this server.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request."

and I go back and hit submit again and either it works, or doesn't.

I'm aware of the problem but there's nothing I can do about it. It appears to a server problem, and so only El Comandante can take it up with the web host. (is this sounding familiar?)

To anyone affected by this: it does not mean you are banned or blocked. The problem seems to come and go, so try again if you have problems posting.

I changed the topic name because it came off a bit obnoxious. Sorry. Wasn't meant to be that way. o__O

It seems to have stopped now... or rather, I was getting it 90% of the time when I tried to post, and it'd take sometimes 20 tries before it'd go through. Very obnoxious. I haven't gotten it all evening, so I'm hoping it's resolved itself.

I've noticed another problem recently - for example in the thread for Kaya's website (and others) at the time of posting there are 44 pages listed, but when I click on the page 44 link I get this 'No posts exist for this topic' message:

When I actually find the most recent post it's invariably on the page preceeding this 'phantom' page - page 44 doesn't exist/have any posts, but it's still listed.
This has only been happening recently. Is it connected to the server problems, or has it always happened and I'm just stupid?

It's happened to me, but always where a new page was just starting. I've always assumed it was because whoever had just posted decided to delete their post, thus confusing the system into creating a new page but not giving it any data to display. Maybe not?
