-scape- + sister sites now on hiatus [forum remains open]

I am sorry, but I have to annouce until further notice all sites under the scape network (-scape- itself, +New Vogue Child+, monophobia, god.complex and any others we were planning) are now on hiatus.

Currently, I don't have the power or will to maintain them right now. One day I may be able to return, who knows.

Anyway, this isn't a goodbye, but yes, as you have noticed I don't post here much anymore. I will still be around here and there but nowhere near as much as before.

Anyway, the forum will remain open and paid for so no worries. Flowers seems to want to continue to help me out and remain as admin.

I have considered this and I am not saying no... but I don't know if I would trust anyone to do it. I don't want to see it die, but on the other hand, the sites have always been something amasanin and I worked on... so it would feel a little weird.

I really care about you too. It will be sad to see you going off from the forum completely so please keep in mind there are people here who care and would like to know that you're alive every once in a while, you know?

Posting is the only way to do things on a forum, though. No one cares about lurkers; they might as well have never signed up since no one knows what they have to say. I just wanna say now that I am really thankful for -scape- ! I found out so much about artists that I have always loved and seen so many interesting pictures and stuff! There definately isn't any other site like this so I am truly thankful!

Aww, this is indeed sad.

I left and returned to -scape-, myself (which is why I'm still a junior member ), but -scape- has been such a wonderful hideaway for me. No one in my area likes Malice Mizer or it's ex-members' solo projects, so I feel a great sense of pride in being able to visit a forum that's NOT full of idiots and trolls, and I love being able to BE a MM fan without feeling like a weirdo here. Everyone here is weird! Just joking.. But, seriously, I will miss LeJun's presence, and I will continue to post here as much as I can (even if I AM an annoying bastard) simply because I now feel it's my DUTY to try to keep -scape- alive and kicking, even if I'm only a simple poster. This is a home for me, and even if I don't really fit in here, I still fit in here a lot better than I do anywhere else. This is my little outcast haven, and I'm going to miss the presence of the man who started this because he did a great thing for MM fans. Until -scape-, we didn't have a place to come to for our strange and rather unpopular fandoms, so, for THAT, I say thanks to all. I love this place, and I DO feel that it's everyone's duty to keep this place from falling apart because (over time) that COULD, in fact, happen. Like anything else, everyone has to work to keep -scape- as wonderful as it's always been. THAT'S our duty as members of this website. Thanks! I love you all (again, even if I am a pain in the ass)!

Well, as someone who has visited the -scape- site for a long time, but only recently joined the forum I would like to say...
-scape- has always been an impressively and professionally run website in my eyes; full of information I can't find elsewhere, extremely comprehensive and trustworthy. And with a layout that doesn't burn one's eyes away.
I had noticed that the updates had slowed down, but just assumed someone would get around to fixing that...
I avoided joining the forum because I didn't have much chance to be online, and I'd feel a bit futile just posting one comment every few weeks. Now I have a lot more computer access, I've looked around and I am really pleased to find that though you have your high powered clique (but of course), it's not done in an elitist or snobby way. I'm sure you all get tired of the over the top fangirling and idiotic assumptions that stalk these places, but the Powers That Be here seem to be extrememly mature and competent at dealing with them!
So, from a -scape- n00b, I would just like to salute you and your hard work, wish LeJun all the best for the future... and long may -scape- reign!
