SIGNUP PROBLEMS - please read for signup info

It looks like the -scape- forums server is having a bit of trouble lately and is unable to send out emails. This, as several people have found, makes it impossible to complete the signup process. If you are a new member trying to sign up, please email one of our administrators, LejuN or amasanin, to have your account manually authorized.

UPDATE (2004/10/17):

Looks like the sign up problem (and general email problem) has been fixed for the greater part. If however for some reason you still don't receive the activation email then email either LejuN or amasanin to activate your account.

hehehe I also noticed another problem. I'm not being rude I am just pointing it out. everytime you go to reply they always make you sign in again and it keeps sending you to sign up til you actually get threw.

That's a new one but I think it might have to do with the cookie settings on your computer rather than the forum itself. Anyone else have the same problem? (also your avatar is too big... read forum rules please)

To anyone else reading this who can't actually sign in, we activate accounts daily so don't worry, we'll get to it within 24 hours the most.

I had the same problem. I originally had my login set to manual login (like I had on the old forum) and I kept getting logged out every time I went to post something. I then had to re-sign in at least twice every time until I was logged in again. I don't think it had to do with my cookie settings because it happened both at work and at home. I have experienced that problem ever since the new forum and on 3 different computers. I have now set my login to automatic and I seem to stay logged in most of the time.

I also noticed that I don't get email notifications anymore when I have received a PM.

Ok I see what you mean about the login now. Yeah I remember some people had the problem at first, I though it was ok now =\

I've noticed it too about PMs. It seems to be a general email problem rather than a login problem. I hope we sort it out.

well I fixed my pic. also I set my thing to automatic log in so it should work better.
