What kind of themes are Schwarz Stein going to explore in the future?
Kaya: Tell us what you want to hear and we will consider it for you.
That was my question. Hora also mentioned Metal Gear Solid for video games.
Did anyone go to the con?
I got some old merch signed by them; Kaya looked pleasantly surprised when I pulled out the Compilation Degital (lol) Decadence photo book. He said he felt nostalgic looking at it.
I thought that Kaya's duct-tape boots looked pretty awesome though. Wonder what happened to them afterwards. When he first got back onstage with them, he was gingerly stepping around, but slowly gained confidence in them and resumed full on dancing again. Meanwhile, Hora stood around looking less awks as I thought he'd be when Kaya was off getting his platforms both duct-taped.
But Hora talked a bit with us while Kaya was gone; He knows of the Toronto Raptors, and teased the girls on the right side of the stage when they called out 'We love you Hora!' and he responded with 'I love you too', then they all started going 'Ohmigod', so he stated imitating their tittering 'Oh my god's to Kaya when he returned. He played the keytar as well.
I don't remember the exact order of the setlist, but they played Perfect Garden, Current, Creeper, New Vogue Children, ended with Last Hallucination, and did NVC again for the encore. During the last chorus, the music softened and Kaya pointed the mic out to the audience; we actually sang along, and it was loud enough to be heard. You should have seen the way Kaya absolutely light up with happiness because we knew the lyrics.
For the tea party, he sang the sweet version of Chocolat, Silvery Dark, and Transmigration. During the little pause between Silvery Dark and Transmigration, everyone was like... in tears. I had brought a tissue box with me ('cause I was getting over a cold) so I was passing it around. Much light-hearted panic about make-up running and whatnot (as pictures would be taken with Kaya afterwards).
Kaya's singing, over all, has really, really improved. The band is so, so much better live, and everything sounded flawless; Kaya hit all his notes, didn't waver, and tbh, all my expectations of them live had been either met or exceeded.
And, I caught the first rose that Kaya threw into the crowd.
