Has anyone ever had this dilemma?

I have a good bit of it, some hard to find (cd wise) and though I dont have a very broad selection (I would of course keep my US versions) but I mainly have Gackt, Malice Mizer, Klaha, Moi Dix Mois. (I also have US releases of Versailles and Dir en Grey)

But as my money is tighter and the fact that I dont really buy the music anymore anyways, Im thinking of selling it off for something Ill use more such as anime or videogames.

Im keeping all my concert dvds that play on region 1 stuff, and my SACD of MARS. But I dont know, it seems kind of pointless to have now since I obtain it online and even the music I do own, I still use digital version of it instead of ripping them from the cds.

Part of me would feel bad getting rid of it and a little bit of me would regret it, but when I get an actual job when Im done with college I could start buying jrock again since its so expensive for what you get due to importing.

I like to have my cds, i can always rip them, and look at them. TBH, i don't really like the idea to buy digital music, and since you can't buy flacs, it is a rip off to pay for mp3s at itunes or amazon. Mp3s should cost way less.

Agree even though I still end up buying digital releases :P I don't count digital releases as part of my collection but I've bought some digital music from artists I like but not enough to spend $40 on an album ;) Plus if you're PC or what you crashes and burns, at least you have physical copies as back up. At least that's the major bonus I see to owning CDs.

I love to have everything, so I can look in the booklets^^ + I feel some sort of satisfaction to know that I have certain things. and I love to hunt for some items=) But if you do want to sell your stuff, I'm excited to see what you got^^
