For me it was DEG's Akuro no Oka on repeat. For like 5 hours a night.

I don't listen to my own music when I'm playing games, unless it isn't story driven like Counter Strike or Multiplayer Halo 2. In which case, it's the loudness, blind guardian, and transyberian orchestra
