I figure this can be a generic travel thread but for now....

Hanachan and I want to take a trip in the coming months.
Somewhere in Europe, but not the UK, Ireland, or France.
...or Spain or Corsica because someone does not swim or do bars/clubs
Other than that, we can't figure out where.

Has anyone been anywhere in Europe that really struck them as amazing? And can you suggest things to do?

We were thinking of Switzerland for the H R Giger museum only that's pretty much all there is in Switzerland.
But then I kind of thought Prague, Vienna, and Salzburg might be awesome. Vienna! Sigh.

Well, any help would be very much appreciated!

I've heard great things about Prague, though I've never been myself... My brother went and was pretty blown away and I've heard the theaters are incredible. If you like museums, there is a lot to do and see there as well. Norway is also very cool if you are a fan of old mythology and/or like trolls. There are a lot of nature walks and parks that have carved trolls around them if you're into that kind of thing.

If you go to Denmark, you can go to Legoland!!

For me Italy and Switzerland are the place I’d like to see again. I think it’s worth it to check out the Sistine chapel in Vatican, gondola ride at Venice is also nice. Leaning tower, Rome, so many places to see. I stayed at Mt. Pilatus http://www.myswitzerland.com/en/interes ... shorn.html feel really peaceful and but maybe boring for some. Don’t really care about Monaco or Nice.

definetly italy, propably a little hot in summer

otherwise Prague must be super pretty, haven't been there myself yet but everybody who's been there liked it :D

as for germany i'd recommend Berlin, it has both hisotrical and modern sights and if you go for castles and stuff Potsdam is around the corner with its Park Sanscouci... but since one of your friends isn't into clubs or bars it's propably not the best choice
