i think i'll donate some money too...

sometimes i wonder why such things (almost) always happen in areas where people are poor and where it's crowded...maybe it's a way for nature to create a balance. why doesn't it happen here? here in the netherlands it's quite dangerous too since we're about 7 meters below sea level. we have dikes and dunes (is that the right word?) to protect us from the sea, but if anything happens to them we'll be gone. still i don't remember anything bad happening except once in the 50s.

yeah it's called dunes

well in 2029 a comet will hit the earth, so one half of the population will be gone...
that thing may hit the white house if you ask me, instead of the poor people

Well great I feel terrible now. I spent money on a hoard of manga yesterday -_-; I don't really have lots of money to begin with because I don't have allowance or a job, my dad usually gets me manga >>; I don't have enough to afford the Jrock cds I so long for. Yet I feel like a big bastard now because I didn't take a moment at the store to think and remember about the horrible tsunami and how I can spend the money not on material possesions like I did yesterday but to help in the slightest ways to the people over seas. Hmm... rest assured though that once I save up again from whatever money I can, I'll try to make a donation. I feel terrible about what is happening because of that Tsunami. Yes, its a natural occurance in nature, but it still doesn't mean that so many people have to suffer because of it.

I was directed to a donation site after I ordered something from amazon. So I donated some money. I feel so bad though. It was a really horrible thing to happen. The death toll keeps on rising, and I'm sure the true number will never be found, because of the conditions. I hope the people there don't give up hope. Many of them are in bad condition (those that have survived). Too many have nothing left, some not even their families.

My family's donating cash. I'm broke. -__- Damn Christmas. It is horrible... I feel detached from it (mainly because I'm dealing with a few BIG problems of my own right now), but I do feel a STRONG sense of compassion, especially for the 5 million people left homeless and all of those POOR kids without parents and parents without kids... Awful...

Your statement can't be any more wrong. It had a 1 in 40 chance of hitting on an expected date of 13th April 2029, but they quickly realised there will be no collision with the earth, or the moon :P
