This topic crops up every once in a while in the random thread, so I figured it'd be a good idea to start a new thread about it 'cause games are that cool. :D I don't think there's another thread like it anywhere... on this page, at least... but I could've totally overlooked something.

So what are you guys currently playing?

As of today, on the Wii I'm working on collecting all 120 stars in Super Mario Galaxy and making my way bit by bit through Super Paper Mario.

I picked up Jump! Ultimate Stars for DS at a convention not too long ago and received Mario Party DS as a gift from a friend, so I'm good with the party games.

Final Fantasy XII (a friend's copy) and Dragon Quest VIII for the PS2 are also waiting to be played. So many games, so little time... but that's what winter break is for. ;D

I finished Assassin's Creed. It sucks (it would suck even without bugs anyway). Give me my 70 € back !

Currently I'm playing:

Metriod Prime 3: Corruption (Wii)
Super Paper Mario (Wii)
Super Metriod (Wii Virtual Console)
Paper Mario (Wii Virtual Console)
Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 (PC)

Needless to say, my time at Uni so far has been spent primarily on gaming, partying and sleeping when I should be in lectures :|

I only have a Nintendo DS Lite. I finished Pokemon Ranger and I dont have the energy to continue Mystery Dungeon (cuz its in Japanese)...so I'm just playing either Tetris or working on my kanji with Kanji Kakitorikun until I can get another English Pokemon game!

Mainly playing Wild Arms(PSX) at the moment..

and with a friend playing quite a lot of Super smash Brothers Melee, must be because of all the fuss around Brawl :P

For the person who bought Assassin's Greed, well..it was pretty obvious the game has failed written all over it.

I'm working my way through Kingdom Hearts II every once and awhile...

Mostly I've been playing Guitar Hero III (for the PS2). I kinda suck.

Wish I had a Wii so that I could play Super Mario Galaxy

Well since I have so much work from school (grrr art college cartooning major = no life ; ; ) I don't get to play much at all. XD But when I do get those few minutes of free time I usually go to my ffix game that my friend let me borrow (i always got the consoles so late and I never had snes so i'm working on ff games now XD already beat 1,2,7, and I play the online xi) Plus my friend just lent me her Phoenix Wright games :D They're so much fun!! Oh and I almost forgot, when I go over to my friend's apartment which we dubbed "The Studio" If I have free time I play Twilight Princess, Odin Sphere, or OKAMI :DDDDDD <3

I don't play video games a heckuvalot, and I'm outdated with my GameCube (::kisaki::)

But I've been loving Eternal Darkness. The replay value on that game is through the roof. You just can't get sick of it.

If they make a sequel, that would be my sole motivation for buying a new console.

...Gamecube XP

It was orginally going to be released on N64, but they decided to hold off the release, sup it up, and put it on Gamecube.

I still have a SNES and NES system that I play...A LOT (because I am stuck in the 80's and early 90's, apparently). I also have a Gamecube which I *only* use for Animal Crossing. ::kisaki::

Of course on the consoles I don't have. :P (well not anymore, my mom gave away my nes and atari systems. :'( ) Oh well my luck. Maybe my friend will have it... XD I'll just go over and try it out then over break.

Animal Crossing is a deep deep void that I'm lucky I got out of because otherwise I'd be failing my classes right now. I got it for the DS. XD

^ Demented: If I still had my Atari 2600, you better believe I would still be playing all of my old games. Oh, how I long for shitty, cube-like graphics ::squeeeee::

As for Animal Crossing, I've been trying to keep my time there to a bare minimum. That game is just WAY too cute and time consuming ::gaku::

I rarely have enough time for games. Any small amount of free time I get I usually either sleep or eat. If I do use some of that time for games though, right now it's Sonic Mega Collection for Gamecube, as well as replaying Twilight Princess.

I actually haven't been playing any video games that much, even after I ninja'd my PS2 out of the house to my dorm. Free wireless Internet sucks my soul away.

But when I do play, it normally depends on my mood. I'm working on the Xenosaga trilogy (I've played all the games, I'm just trying to play them consecutively to understand the damn story), SO:TTEOT, FFVI (PSX or GBA, depends on mood), or Parasite Eve. I play the last game less then the rest, but that's because I was forced to start a new game because I can't find the memory card with my very near the end of the game (as in, last bosses) save file.

Ohoho, then you must envy me, because I'm currently playing that game for the first time ::squee::

Next up in the docket: "Ecco the Dolphin" for Sega CD and "Castlevania IV" for SNES. And I have a savefile of "Super Mario Galaxy" on my sister's Wii with about 12 stars on it, which I'll slowly complete the next times I visit her ::meev::

msjae: Atari 2600 sucked XD I bought one at a flea market once and sold it again about a week later ::meev:: I do have an Atari 800 which has surprisingly decent graphics, but the games are still somewhat lame XD

Oh, I am very much aware of the sucktastic quality of the 2600. I no longer have my 2600, because of said quality. I just get all misty eyed sometimes and miss having a faux-wood paneled game console laying around my house.

As for the Atari 800, it reminded me of my first computer...A COMMODORE! ::zetsubou::
