I really like Anne Rice, but I do think she is overrated. Her imagination and ideas are great, but I don't think her books are written as well as people give her credit for; they're pretty good, but not as amazing as, say...Tolkien. ;)

I also think it's that Vampires themselves are really overrated. Besides, a Vampire's got nothin' on a Belmont.

You're not the only one Kazuo but then again I think my dislike comes from the fact that I just don't like vampires ::meev::

Lately I've been eyeing the pictures of asian cooking books :| I should get my hands on some really good book, it's been long since I read something that's not school-related.

I <3 Anne Rice.
But I'm currently reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman with Terry Pratchett.

We are reading some french fables that are so fucking morbid...I love it. They make me giggle.
"AND CHOKE THE LIFE RIGHT OUT OF YOU!"
Priceless.

I'm currently reading Dracula.... i've heard so much of it but know so little that i wanted to read the... "original"? version of the count. I'm still in my first hundred of pages but i'm already loving it. It's a really great book, IMO...

After so many pages, I was really tired to read it, but this is a book that gets better and better. Even the epilogue is awesome XD and is my favorite part of the book, too.

"Infernal Angel" by Edward Lee. Dark, creepy, sometimes nasty stuff. But still quite entertaining.
