Golden Sun. It's the only one of those options which I have played. :P

Final Fantasy for mainly sentimental reasons. First ever RPG series I ever played. Squeenix has been slacking off as of late, but I still find the games enjoyable.

Where is the mighty Soul Blazer, Illusion of Gaia, and Terranigma trinity?

But in the confines of the otherwise inclusive list given, I vote for Lufia for the reasons that none else will and probably declare Final Fantasy and/or Kingdom Hearts the greatest monument of human civilisation in the past century, and also because Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals is the only video game that has come even close to actually making me shed tears.

I cried when Coily caught Q-bert, you heartless ogre. :(

I think I'm going to go for "Secret of Mana" (specifically "Seiken Densetsu 3") as far as purely enjoyable gameplay goes. "Earthbound" for best general setting/attitude/atmosphere etc. And "Wizardry" for sheer infuriating excellence

I choose Zelda even though I some how became an increasingly worse player the older I got. I use to beat and figure out Zelda Dungeons with ease when I was young and now I'm just terrible. My favourite is Link To The Past, I swear I beat it when I was little. Now I can't beat the Turtle Mountain Dungeon D: Wind Waker was fun but I've never finished it because I got Resident Evil 4. Then after I got Resident Evil 4 out of my system I've forgot what I was suppose to be doing in Wind Waker (laughs)

Never in my lifetime have I read, watched, or played quite an ending such as the heroine dies, the hero, also her husband, chooses to remain with her corpse and die also as their infant child is left alone to throw a crying fit, AND another lady central character from earlier in the game who loved the hero yet parted ways so that not to interfere with the aforementioned two's love simply stops what she's doing during the credits, and breaks down into sobbing, too, AND THAT'S IT; THAT'S THE END OF THE DAMN GAME :|

Zelda owns all. ::k:: I like it much more than any of the traditional RPG style games.

Xenosaga and no Xenogears?! Blasphemy!

Also, where's the Chrono series? Chrono Trigger is by far my favorite RPG ever.

well, i love xenogears too, but it is not a "series", there is no xenogears II, III,IV... , and i had in mind to make this poll only for series :(

I also wanted to add chrono series, but there is no space left for more options. XD (maybe a moderator can add?)

I'm so mad at that damn Chrono Crusade anime. It has NOTHING to do with the games and just uses the damn name of the Chrono series to get attention. On top of that, it sucks. ;[

I lost faith in Final Fantasy after VI. VII is where FF started to fall off the map to me and started to focus on other things besides a great game, like OMFG BISHOUNENZ D:. And Square Enix is falling off the map even further. Although, I'm quite excited for FFXIII due to the new battle system and jumping back to a futuristic style.
