Ok. So, I woke up this....afternoon XD, and it was on my desk. Here's my review.

IMMORTAL

Very cool organ intro. The development of the song is nice and soft, hora's usual style. However, I think this song shouldn't be the first Track of the album, Wisdom should've been.

WISDOM

One of my favorite songs of this album. The intro is dark and heavy, and at the 00:30 it gets better. It's like being in a storm.

THE ONE

I Think it's my favorite song of the album. It starts with this corrugated sound and then this beat with a danceable rythm. Later on, it turns into a very nice and danceable tune. Organs again, which could be removed but I don't care. The basses are nice, and the echo part adds some dramatism to the song. From minute 3:00 I think it's the best part of it.

WASTE

It starts with a Hora usual style, then it explode with some organ again. Nothing interesting yet, but at minute 1:00 it's very catchy. In general it's a darkish song, very laboratory and the piano part is amazing, it's like a song for the middle of an experiment. The ending part with the piano again is very nice.

FACT

I think I hear ambulance or cops sound in the back XD. Then the synthesizer starts with a very Terminator beat. Spacey melody and like laser rays wet the song.

BURIAL

This tune is AMAZING. It's very dramatic. As Wandering Fox posted, this funeral-military march like sound is very deep and touching. Maybe this one too should've been the intro song for Wisdom.

NOTHING

I love this song. From the star to the very end I can imagine a blue sky and blue water XD. I can't describe the feeling. This soft and relaxing sound is just perfect. For the name, and for my thoughts, I can interpret that we are like part of the ether in this vast universe.

Somehow the sound like a marimba or something, reminds me of some song of the Akira soundtrack.

RELIC

This is a really sad song. The instrument is like the one in euphoria hipnotize but just the keyboard basic sound. It's definitively the song to say goodbye. At the end, it passes like 3 seconds without sound so you think it's the end, and you can get like WTF, but it continues. The melody is repetitive and melancholic. Together with NOTHING are the perfect songs for the ending.

In general, I loved this album. The songs are deep and match the intend to say goodbye. For the second CD, well, I can't recall the difference, I can't recognize the remastering.

For the design of the CD, It's very ellegant. The CDs design is excellent and beautiful. The case is so cool. The cover, well, At first I thought Hora could've used a better picture, not because of the red sky itself, but because if you look it closely, it seems like a pixelated not good quality picture, but I think it can be possibly the idea.

Finally, inside the "booklet" you can see the tracklist which could be replaced by something else as it's also in the back of the case, but something peculiar is the part which says: SPECIAL THANKS TO: and there are 7 names on it. Are those names of his cats? can somebody help me with this?.

That's all. I inspired too much XD.

It's called a musicbox :P Because of the history of the 'instrument' people always feel nostalgic when they hear musicboxes. In many modern media musicboxes are used to express this feeling of craving to an old memory. Hora does the same now. RELIC should be put in a musicbox, that would make this composition absolutely complete for me. Sometimes a simple melody is the perfect way to express a certain feeling. Hora didnt need a complex composition to end his final album.

All in all i think this could have been much more grand, but Hora gave us his best and the entire album as a whole was decent.

I did not have high hopes for Wisdom I have to admit. I was disappointed with domiNATE. But after 3 listens I have to admit I thoroughly like it (It needs to stand the test of time for me to say the L word.) If it does turn out to be his last album, it's a good way to go. However I don't particularly care for the title, I think that any of the other tracks would have made a better title. Wisdom is a good song, but I don't think it portrays the mood of the album, it is a very 'Hora' song though, but this album is not a typical Hora album imo.

I totally agree, for his last release I think he should have made more of an effort. Like maybe remix his favorite songs in the same style as the new tracks, kinda like what he did with Icebound but better.

...I just heard last week when I listened to IMMORTAL the the "chorus" sounds just like Velvet Eden's Kumo Onna. Did Hora want to make a new version out of it?^^

I'm liking the way this CD is starting! The organ is nice and the instrumentation is quite good! I also really like this first verse! No vocals, but then when the chorus starts... I've heard this before... Let's add some vocals... I think the chorus from Kumo Onna would do nicely, because this is a blatant rip-off pretty much note for note. Still a pretty good song. And the instrumentation is nice~ I'll be listening to this again

I thought the exact same thing when I popped me copy in the day I got it, hahahaha I think he should have added vocals...

It seems like Immortal IS kumo onna!

http://twitter.com/dada274

Dada seems to be angry about it.

I have forgiven you already. "Immortal" I'm not uncomfortable to sing. Not much time. You should contact me.

I find that really interesting! Could you imagine Dada singing to Horas (solo)music?

How come you think he's angry? I find Dadas english pretty confusing, so i'm not sure.

We mentioned that Kumo Onna is Immortal above ^
I don't get why Dada's pissed off over that, oh, right HE FORGAVE Hora for using his own song on his record....

Really? I thought Dada was telling him he forgave him for running off with Kaya or whatever that decade ago.

But rather than what Dada meant, I think the real question here is "would Hora even be reading Dada's Twitter?"

...something says 'nah'.
Either way, it was a petty comment :/

I'm surprised that he wrote the message to Hora in English. Did he want to make sure that his/their foreign fans know about it?
