I like putting all 70 of my cherry filter / youjeen songs on a playlist sometimes on random and just letting it play through. A lot of her songs vary in style. She has a great voice, too. I can't really say that i have a favorite song. I like a lot of them :(

I've never heard of Youjeen or Cherry Filter. Can you tell me more about them? What style of music do they make? And do you know where I can hear samples?

I second that. I've never heard of either.. I'm definately going on an mp3 hunt when I get home.

Cherry Filter was a band that started in Korea with Youjeen on vocals that pretty much cover many types of music. Rock, pop, hip-hip, and rap and sometimes combined together for a good combination. She later decided to start a career in Japan and J from Luna Sea liked what he heard and decided to produce her first album. I much prefer her first album over her second but they're both good albums. Her first album was much more punky and in your face, much more fun to rock out to. You can really hear J's influence on it. The second album is much more poppy with some songs that just don't do it for me after coming off the heels of her first album but that's just me.

I didn't know she did a Japanese release.
I saw one of her PVs at a cafe awhile back and I liked it but when I went to listen to some MP3s, the music just wasn't for me. I guess it's one of those bands/singers where I'll only like maybe one or two songs from them.

Yet I'm interested in her Japanese releases :P

Those albums are called "The Doll" and "Bewitched".

I'm a Cherry Filter fan :DDDD *has two of their CDs* ^__^

hm... i first found out about them when i saw their music video of "Flying Duck" on TV and a few songs from a korean drama ^^;

i don't have a FAVOURITE favourite song... but i like:

- Cherry Filter
- Romantic Cat
- nae gae ro wa (i don't know how to translate this)
- Jonathon the Seagull
- Independent You (very engrish hahaha)
- DIVE
- Flying Duck
- Tick-Tock

there are a few more... but i don't remember which ones KD;
haven't listened to these CDs in a while...

I don't know much about You Jeen and i heard a few of her japanese songs but they didn't appeal to me :\
so i have a question about her KD;;;
in the Made in Korea? album, you see her posing with a Les Paul guitar on the CD covers o_o; does she really play or is she just posing? 'cause i've never seen her play the guitar before ^^;
