I'm going to bet it comes in under 8K.
The final market price was 9250Y. Probably because someone reading here decided to spend a few bucks to throw off my prediction ;)

Btw for a few hours this treasure was listed, sadly they took it really fast, I was seriously considering paying for it.
A nice find, to be sure. My copy was also sealed when I got it, and I only ever played it to rip it, so I think we can't expect too much more quality than what we have. But it would always be good to double-check - it's always possible that my copy might have been stored poorly.

not super well versed with demo tapes, but figured i'd post this kneuklid romance demo tape distributed at meguro rockmaykan from when kami was still in the band:
https://page.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/u1022751615
That's their 3rd anniversary tape, so after Kami left. He was only on the first and second demos.
At any rate I think all the Kneuklid Romance demos on auction sites are fakes. They're certainly mass-produced.

This one's fake!
As flowers said, it is after Kami left.
There is actually a black/white, and a red version!
I own real copies of both.
Real copies of both are recognisable by stamped serial numbers on the back.

@heutre I see you liked last post! For the info, I ripped my two BLAM HONEY VHS tapes too and will upload it soon! Nothing beats my VCR!!! It's one of the best VCR's ever, it's a professional Japanese VCR from SONY. Refurbished locally after importing it!!! @sanctum actually bought it for me from mercari hahahaha!!! (before buyee from mercari was a thing lol) Soooo happy with it! I also ripped my VELVET EDEN SAD MASK VHS and it's a bit better than the DVD repress from 2011!

Amazon UK claims to be selling Plextor PX-760SA drives, new, with a 6-month delay:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000H4WN7C

As I recently discovered, these drives are highly coveted for use with CD error-checking tools such as QPxTool: https://qpxtool.sourceforge.io/
Plextor drives in general seem to be the "reference implementation" for disc-related stuff. And unfortunately most of the best drives are so old that they're IDE (or worse, SCSI) rather than SATA, which will put a crimp in your style. This "SA" drive is one of the rare SATA versions.

At any rate, I ordered one - we'll see if it really comes.

Oh I forgot to answer, which BH VHS will you be ripping? Good news. Thanks for sharing as always .

Is anyone else in the habit of disassembling their old cracked CD cases and transplanting the contents into new ones?
I found a good supplier for jewel cases:
https://www.checkoutstore.com/collections/cd-jewel-cases/products/standard-cd-jewel-case-10-4mm

Unlike nearly all suppliers these days, the black trays with these have the "Compact DISC Digital Audio" logo stamped in them still. Not as clearly and deeply as an authentic tray (so maybe keep your old one if it's not broken), but better than anything else on the market. The weight of these cases is also about 10 grams more than the other leading brand, indicating a sturdier, higher-quality manufacture.
