You have to realize that Gackt still considers himself visual kei for some reason.
He said it in an interview last year or something.

For instance, tons and tons of bands take into account the visuals as well as the music in their performances and images, but they're not a part of the visual kei scene and may not know anything about it.
Also, I'm not debating, because this has been debated before so many times. I'm just putting my opinion in.
