Why do you think Moi dix Mois doesn’t have PV?

It would be just Mana wandering around.
Don't pretend we all wouldn't buy "Mana Lost In Walmart For 2 Hours" ::meev::

But I'm guessing there's just no business case for it. The "P" does stand for promotional after all, and how exactly are they going to promote themselves with a video? Back in the Malice Mizer days Mana had a major label footing the bill for the on-location filming, and they played the PVs on TV and in record stores on those little TVs they would have hanging from the ceiling - all to get people to buy CDs and go to lives.
Making money by selling the PVs themselves seems to have been an afterthought - the "cinq parallele" VHS wasn't even sold in stores until after Gackt had already left the band.

Nowadays, Mana would have to pay for the whole thing himself and there would be limited promotional opportunities - he's not getting on TV and record stores aren't what they used to be. It would effectively be just a Youtube promo, and whether that's worth his time is questionable.
Alternatively he could sell PV DVDs himself, but given how rampant piracy is it's unclear that he'd even break even on the deal. I think there's a reason the Malice Mizer reunion DVD cost hundreds.

There's also the consideration of the Musical Services Subcontractors having their own projects and probably real jobs too - M10M isn't anyone's full-time job anymore. Mana couldn't even get everyone together to do a photoshoot for JVM, and one can only assume a video shoot would be much harder.

I bet Mana would love to do a video if he had unlimited funds, but doing cross-promotion and interviews with the JVM bands is probably smarter given practical considerations.

Now that I think about it this is the closest we will ever get to a MdM PV
I remember watching that video a thousand times back in the day.
I love the melody, it reminds me of a undistorted version of Malice Mizer's mezame no razen, but it could be just my imagination.

Ville Valo gave an interview recently where he mentioned the same thing, making a music video back in the days of HIM would cost the record label somewhere around half a million dollars, whereas now he can just spend a few thousand and put a music video out himself.

Only a few thousand? You'd think all those cameramen, editors, studio time, etc. would add up.
