The only album that has ever had a huge impact on me and my artwork is Sphire Croid by Rentrer en Soi. It's the staple to my entire CD collection. It's all good as long as I have that album.

Yeah, that's what I tried to keep in mind when making my list. I know that just because I'm obsessed with something right now and think it's the greatest thing, that doesn't necessarily mean that I'll still be listening to it 5, 10 or 15 years from now.

oh, Duran Duran! Iska! I think you have a new best friend!

Well, they are one of the biggest hit-makers of all time. It's not that unusual to find other people that are into them.

The only album I really liked ten-ish years ago that I still enjoy listening to now is Eiffel 65's Europop. :P

A few other favorites -

D - Neo Culture~Beyond the World~/The Name of the ROSE
Hallucinogen - The Lone Deranger
Infected Mushroom - IM The Supervisor, Converting Vegetarians
Roxette - Joyride
Boney M - Any one of their five million compilation albums (provided they contain some of the "classics")
Versailles - NOBLE (soon to be replaced by JUBILEE. =x)
Malice Mizer - Bara no Seidou
Mannheim Steamroller - Fresh Aire 8 (lol)
Vangelis - Reprise (lol)

I feel like I'm missing a lot. O_o

There's a bunch of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern songs that belong to albums I want to eventually look into getting. For now suffice it to say I really like a handful of those artists (Amr Diab & Samira Said, among others) but they barely make a dent in my library. >_<

I guess I didn't mean "of all time" in the sense that you've always liked it or something. :| I just meant it doesn't matter how old/new it is.

Nice

Also, I'm a fan of, like, 75% of the albums on Lem's list.

I tried to keep that in mind when putting mine together. That's why much of my list consist of metal bands. No matter how old it gets I can still enjoy most of those artist TO THE MAX. Especially Blind Guardian and Death. Those two bands I can always go back and enjoy them like I did when I first listened to them.
